My sister did it too, in casinos in Vegas and Reno, and she has been chairperson of the Special Education dept. at her school for 10 years now. It is GOOD money when you need to go to college and/or grad school.

We had it; we flaunted it. We made good money. We had fun. Tons of fun.

So selling sex not bad as long as not touched right?

I am the former cocktail-waitress -turned -tax lawyer poster here.

Some women use their looks to get ahead, some use their brains. My sister and I had both. Guess you didn't?

DP but in a world that hypersexualizes women, we are all selling sex whether we want to or not. Some of us are selling a chaste, virginal brand (the hijab and abaya are even considered sexy because they are mysterious and suggest a very exclusive product). But you won't be regarded as less sexual than a Hooters woman since you're in Ann Taylor. Just marketed differently. You're not better than a woman in revealing clothing.

Yikes
The hijab and abaya women are militant, have made a virtue out of submissiveness, most likely have their body full of bruises as their husbands beat them

So did you catch your man cheating with a Hooters waitress? Otherwise, I can't think of a reason to activate a seven year old thread.

This described job = 1 step up from prostitution
Hooters waitress = 2 steps

Less than 1 step if you ask me. Some of the responses really surprise me. It’s like women think selling sex/look is okay when they do it. It’s not okay if some other women do it
