What's the most embarassing food you still eat?

Me tooooooo!!!! And chocolate milk. And the mini doughnut holes. And doritos. And corn dogs and funnel cake. Of course I found out I have insulin resistance and now carbs are very limited. But DH went out of town a couple of weeks ago and the first thing I bought was nutella.

Nutella rocks!

My friend's kid got into "trouble" for bringing Nutella for lunch (on bread with sliced banana).

Her Italian grandmother was up in arms!

And how about the marshmallows in Lucky Charms? yum

In our house, beef jerky is enjoyed by all family members, including our 4 and 5 year old kids. I'm sure they would adore slim jims, but I have held off.

Alot of ppl think egg salad is for babies....i bring it for lunch and I hear it alot. I love it! Maybe my co-workers are all assholes. HA

I eat egg salad I make at home usually 2x a week!

I LOVE the whole foods egg salad!

Love, love, love egg salad. Also love my sister's deviled eggs. Perfection. And enormous quantities of caramel (or jars of dulce de leche sauce) for two days straight before my period. So gross.

sour patch kids...actually any gummy candy

hostess pies...the cherry one actually

sugary bubble gum, cotton candy (even the stuff in a bag from CVS), basically anything with an insane amount of sugar.

Can we please focus the thread back to foods you would be embarrassed for people to know you eat? Candy bars, chips, cheetos,McDonalds? Give me a break.
I thought the Vienna sausages out of the jar was one of the best. Definitely not something I would readily admit. I had a roommate once who would eat jarred baby food.

Combos are my road trip food, too! It's like 2 good groups, you know, just in case you don't have time to stop for a meal ... ;

Peeps
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Cheese puffs

I never eat these because a. I'm on weigh watchers (gee I wonder why) and b. I don't want DS to fall in love with these same foods so I keep them out of the house.

A throwback from childhood:
Grilled cheese

Another vote for cheddar cheese combos. I honestly didn't think anyone else ate these things. Also, Hostess "donettes," the small white powdered sugar donuts.

McDonalds...cheeseburger, fries and a coke. They have hands down the best coke on the planet...

Seriously! Why is McDonald's the only place that ever gets the mix of the syrup and the soda right? I go a couple times a month, am a diet Coke person rather than a Coke person, but it always tastes perfect. No one else comes close - too flat, too watery, not enough taste, etc.

I love how the new supermini Reese's came out and they don't have wrappers. I haven't tried them yet but it will be so much more convenient to eat a whole bag at a time that way!

in high school I used to eat a bag of funyuns and a snapple pink lemonade for lunch everyday (from the hs cafeteria vending machines). man, my breath must have been special.

I was also addicted to scooter pies (sorta like a moonpie)- if I saw those on a shelf anywhere I would clear out the store.

now my shame is limited to hostess cupcakes, pop tarts and mac'n'cheese with ketchup (gross combo but I love it. I must have the palate of a toddler.)

No more calls, we have a winner. And one to be truly embarassed about, not just in a "I can't believe I still love Big Macs even after I saw Fast Food Nation and Super Size Me. What would Morgan Spurlock say if he saw me at the Yes Organic Market stuffing one of these down my gullet?" kind of way. It's pet "food."

Every once in a while I crave Taco Bell. Also Wendy's. McDonald's and Burger King gross me out in the extreme, but I love me a Wendy's single or spicy chicken sandwich and fries. With a frosty for dessert.

McDonald's and BK gross you out, yet you sometimes crave TACO BELL? There's absolutely no way to harmonize those two feelings. Taco Bell would be a step down for the Meow Mix lady.
