Totally agree about Westworld! I LOVED the first season. I'd could barely follow season 2 and quit about halfway through. Did they get all new writers and director or something? What a fall. |
I did love the end of Season 1 of Severence I will absolutely admit to that! Maybe I'm not remembering exactly well, I thought the old lady who was the lonely busybody neighbor in the real world but the boss in the office world, at one point was actually the boss the whole time and was only pretending to be the busybody neighbor? And then didn't the main character also try to combine his characters so that he was aware of both inside and outside time or something? Maybe I should have given it more time, but as soon as multiple characters were shown to be aware of both worlds at the same time, it gave me those awful west world vibes. Without spoilers, do you think it's worth finishing? I did like the Hellie character's badass stuff at the end of season 1 and I liked the characters figuring out more stuff. I did NOT like the endless office scenes and i didn't like them exploring around the office like alice in wonderland finding other pockets of office work. I didn't really care about the office work but maybe once it becomes clear what work theyre doing, ill like it? I'll follow whatever you recommend, stranger on the internet. |
Yes!!! When the one guy with the glasses was like "it doesn't look like anything to me", it was one of the most exciting moments in TV history for me hahaha. I was SO INVESTED after that. And then it was like they got a taste of what viewers liked and were like "let's just repeat that over and over and over and over". I don't know how it ended because I stopped watching during the whole thing about finding the daughter or going through whatever that door was in the field. |
| The Bear |
+1 It was ok the first few episodes, then it just tried to hard to make you cry every episode. To add to the list Friends |

M*A*S*H
Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, my parents seemed to ALWAYS have this show on. It sucked for me because we only had one TV 📺 for the entire house. I tried to get into this boring show > but never discovered the appeal.
A close second would have to be The Lawrence Welk Show. |
I loved Arrested Development, and the narrator is Ron Howard. Come on! He's amazing. But then I found Running Wilde which is also Will Arnett and they had a narrator and it just felt derivative. |
| I haven’t seen it so maybe this isn’t the thread, but everything about Euphoria gives me the MAJOR ick. Every time I go to watch something on HBO Max, it gives me an ad for Euphoria first and I just want to block everything about it. |
Lol. Stranger Things Handmaid’s Tale Glow Mrs Mauser Insecure The Diplomat Beef Six Feet Under Homeland Big Love West Wing The Good Wife I’m sure there are tons more but I don’t watch much tv these days |
| Lost was so stupid |

That’s another one that just stopped making sense after the first few episodes. It could have been so good. |
| Seinfeld. The Pitt. |

I didn't watch a lot of the Sopranos but I still remember when the therapist was raped. It was such a realistic scenario and then to see that the guy was working at the fast food restaurant? Just a really interesting storyline. I don't even know what happened to it because I didn't have HBO! |
