I have to find European shows to watch.

I actually think most people hate Big Bang Theory.

I hated it but I liked Young Sheldon. Go figure.

I think GG is okay. Honestly I'd prefer it if it was just about the people of Star's Hollow rather than Rory and Lorelai.

GOT
Breaking Bad
Dexter
Ted Lasso
Schitt's Creek
Ozark

Schitt's Creek. I watched the first 2 episodes and just didn't get it. Now when I see clips, I think the mom's weird diction is just dumb. I suppose I would get her if I watched more, but I can't

Mad Men. It was fine, but nowhere near worthy of the acclaim it got.

There are a lot of "wildly popular" shows I don't watch. But I liked the ones I did watch, mostly because I knew they were up my alley. For ex: Downton Abbey, Big Bang Theory, and Parks and Rec. I have stayed clear of Bridgerton, Emily in Paris, Breaking Bag, Game of Thrones etc, because I don't think I'd like them. I watched Seinfeld such a long time ago as a teen and hated it, because everyone seemed so mean. Friends was OK on some level, except that Ross and Rachel were just so darned annoying. I like Chandler (RIP).

Exactly. Which is why I disliked the show.

Shitts Creek.

And I love O'Hara, I'm a big Christopher Guest fan. But I think I prefer Dan and Eugene Levy in much smaller doses (and maybe not together) and I just didn't find the humor on that show funny. I made it through maybe 6 episodes and gave up.

Everyone I know raves about it.

I agree with many listed here: Ted Lasso, Breaking Bad (although episode 1 was great) Friends, Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls

I liked Young Sheldon (Annie Potts!), Seinfeld and GoT.

I loved Schitt’s Creek, The Americans and The Wire. I was into Lost before it fell apart.

Lost and Walking Dead or whatever that zombie series was called

We probably wouldn't get along. I think Breaking Bad was Shakespearian the whole way through. Very satisfying. GOT made a mess with the last season, which was so disappointing. But it was excellent tv for about five seasons.

I have trouble with White Lotus. I don't give a F about any of these characters. Zero emotional investment. Upper class douchebags doing upper class douchebag things. I can find that in a Whole Foods parking lot. It's not riveting television for me, even though the filming is beautiful.

Because you hated it? The show ran for 12 seasons and was No. 1 in its 11th season. It launched Young Sheldon and a sequel. There is also another spinoff in the works.
