One of the reasons I don't believe in Christianity is because the Jews did not believe in Jesus

Not in the great scheme of things Jewish. No jew even wrote about Jesus except maybe one one time. Christianity took off when it became part of the Roman religion. Either way, it's obvious that God wasnt convincing to the Jews enough to make it worthwhile to their lives and future lives. It was a bust for the people it was intended for.

Correct - any Jewish influence that Jesus had to have been quite limited and short-lived.
Incorrect, and as a previous poster asked, “Did anyone read Matthew?”, and I would add John as well:

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. (John 10:26)

Quote from your book of fairy tales all you want, but it doesn't change the underlying facts as presented throughout other posts in this thread.

Are you citing a passage from this book in the hopes that it will be like a spell from Harry Potter and will magically make other readers suddenly grasp your meaning?

I say, "Expecto Patronum!" and away with your soul sucking brain-dead beliefs.

The Bible is not a collection of myths and fairy tales but an accurate, historical record, oarts of it backed up by archaeology and science. Your faith in your belief the Bible is untrue does not magically make it untrue except in your head.

For the other Christians here, this is an example of the harms of your beliefs. This imbecile has the same vote power that you do. This is how the idiot-in-chief hoodwinked these morons into thinking he represented their Christian values, despite his clear misogyny, racism, and xenophobia.

Stop pretending that your version of a fictional story is better or harmless.

Nowhere was it said Trump represents Christian values. Born again, Bible-believing Christians voted for Trump because the Democratic party holds values that are unChristian: abortion, homosexuality, and harboring lawless fugitives hiding from justice, people who give America the middle finger concerning immigration laws.

Liberal Christians, who do not revere God’s word in the Bible, might listen to you because they are not of Jesus’s sheepfold. A liberal Christian aligns more with Buddhism than Jesus, for they believe good works and compassion is what gets you into heaven. They refuse to believe LGBTQ is sin despite, like adultery, being clearly declared as such.

The liberal Christian will say for over 2,000 years we have interpreted the Bible wrong, that LGBTQ “scholars” have discovered the real truth. Failing to convince the elect with that nonsense, scripture will be omitted or twisted into a pretzel to make the Bible not condemn their sins, which Jesus says you must repent of then “Go, and sin no more.”

It is not xenophobia to have immigration laws and a border patrol to keep hordes of lawless people from infiltrating our nation, which is the only way to conquer America. Our military is too strong for anyone to invade conventionally.

A large number of Blacks and women voted for Trump, not believing the same stupid drivel screamed by Democrats.

Please know that not all Christians voted for Trump and they are certainly of "Jesus’s sheepfold" though not according to some conservative "Christians" like you, who are always looking for someone to hate, even if they are fellow believers.

It would appear that this PP wasn’t hoodwinked. Trump’s misogyny, racism, and xenophobia were the reasons they voted for him.

I, along with other born again Christians (which is not the same as Culture Club Christians), voted for the Republican party whose candidate was Trump. Per the constitution, there is no religious requirement to run for office.

I was surprised Trump ran as a Republican because his morality (or rather immorality) was that typical of Democrats.

Had Kamala Harris been the Republican candidate, I would have voted for her, as I did Winsome Sears.

Something about how animals needed another animal of their kind to understand and follow to do things and that's why Jesus came to us as a baby human.

There are so many thinking flaws with this story and to me they point out one of the reasons why Christianity is flawed. First, people and animals do not always respond to their own kind. In revelation the depiction is much more convincing that a God is present. Not very convincing with a baby. The wisemen and star are convincing but these are not historically accurate or verified. It makes much more sense that people used this story to convince others to be more child-like and convince others that a normal human was God and much less sense that Jesus as a baby had anything to do with humans following him as the Messiah. Second, the jews didnt listen to Jesus for the most part. So even though he came as a human it didnt work for God's chosen people. So God needed to go from being the wind and however else hes mentioned in the old testament to being a human and then he tried his best but the Jews were too stubborn so he turned his attention to others? I'm not following this illogical thinking. It doesnt make sense that God would abandon his people or that God would turn his attention to another group or that God would need a new way of communicating. So God lost his ability to talk to his people like in Exodus but tried with Jesus and failed? Mission failure?

I'd love to hear fron others. Do others have the same confusion from the old testament to the new testament?

Both/And is more accurate here than Either/Or.

We Gentiles were grafted in to Israel. Jesus told the Jewish leaders that if they believed Moses, they would believe in Him. Basically pointing out that he is the fruition and continuation of what came before. Much like today in the Christian church, many of the leaders of Second Temple Judaism were corrupt and actually did not believe in their religion at all. Instead they loved attention and money and exploited the poor (e.g., Luke 20:46-47).

I wouldn't make too much of a bad illustration in a homily. Look at the scripture appointed for the day instead.

LOL this is the most twisted post I've ever read about religion. You do realize there was no Christianity before Christ was crucified, right? Therefor the Jews -- in other words, Jesus himself and the disciples -- could not have influenced anything.

Nice try perpetuating the trope tho, OP.
