Um, sure, you can rest assured Olivia is right here reading your advice very closely. Your time was definitely well spent. |
No, it's not a hit piece. A hit piece would be if she made some minor relationship transgression 5 years ago and he felt the need to bring it to light as evidence she's some horrible person. "Olivia didn't do the dishes one night when it was her turn and that's really indicative of the kind of person she is" would be a hit piece. Grossly exaggerating things she did would be a hit piece. Straight up lying would be a hit piece. She is capitalizing on something that was deeply painful for him as part of her redemption tour and god only knows how self-serving she is going to be in the book. I don't blame him for sharing his side. You act like it's anti-feminist to say they both suck he just sucks less? Or are we all just supposed to support Olivia because she's a woman? |
Exactly. He wishes Sanford and the rest would pay him to bend over. How much of an idiot must he be to have no book deal and be stuck posting bitter screeds on substack while her career is back on track with a book out already? Twice her age and half her intellect. |
They're both playing the victim. His substack was incredibly self-serving and I'm sure her book will be as well. They are both horrible people. |
Uh, I don't know about that. She's a horrible writer, slept with two sources which is indicative of horrific impulse control, and is now writing a book ensuring that she will always be remembered as "the girl who blew up her career to sext RFK Jr." |
Also I think he didn't write a book because he claims Olivia had been contacting him for months trying to get him to sign an NDA and promising she wouldn't talk about it. She then reneged on that. Again, I can see why he'd want to get his side out. |
Yeah, a likely story. I have no doubt publishers are just beating his door down.
|
She's known as the girl who got a book deal and new high profile job out of what you all hoped would be a career ender. I'm rooting for her. Enough of blaming women because men refuse to stop using money to extract sex from women their children's age. Go ask your dads and granddads to leave other people's children alone. |
That's....incredibly weird that you leap to assuming people who don't like Olivia Nuzzi have pedophiles in their family. |
^^^Especially when you're defending a woman who recorded and released a song about being "jail bait" when she was a child. |
| Sexualized pop stars would never be so overt as to write a song called "jailbait." Livvy had poor marketing instincts back then, she was never gonna make it. |
And she's always thought she was way more clever than she actually is. Here's her email to Pop Justice from when she was marketing her record at 16:

*Gasp* Omg, not my daddy! Everyone pretends it isn't their father and grandfather misusing their positions of power to compromise and financially pressure young women into sex. But, as rampant as the behavior is among men, you need to get real. If you were a worthwhile person, you'd save your energy for the legion of male predators among us instead of only coming to life when a woman is discovered to have used their depravity to a small advantage. Loser. |
A child releases a sexually inappropriate song under the supervision of the countless adults needed to write, produce, and greenlight a song. And you think the thing to do is to use that song to attack her as an adult. 50 year old user Ryan Lizza is a victim, but Olivia Nuzzi, who we now know has been getting used and compromised by men since she was literally a child deserves your scorn? You're a pig plain and simple. Virtually no woman will make it from birth to death without ending up in some nasty male predator's crosshairs. When it's you or your daughter's turn or the turn of any woman you love, I hope you all get treated the exact same way you personally treat other women. |
Truly a remarkable feat that this piece made him even more unlikable than her. Those two were a perfect match. |
