Olivia Nuzzi on her relationship with RFK Jr.

I can’t get past finding RFK jr attractive and then add in all of his odd beliefs. Nope. I have a hard time imagining an intelligent woman being attracted to him

She’s not attractive either. Her boyfriend at the time was an older and beta.

She loved his eyes, “blue as the flame.” She loved that “the sight of something as trivial as a rose” could move him to tears. She loved his insatiable appetites and his “particular complications and particular darkness.”

But she said “I love you” only after he said it first. He called her “Livvy” and wrote her poems. He said he wanted her to have his baby. He promised to take a bullet for her.

This is what Nuzzi writes in her book, “American Canto,” never naming the politician who readers will deduce is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Is the woman mentally ill?

That much is clear.

She should be a stay at home mom right now in Connecticut married to a guy her age who works in finance. Instead she’s this thirsty political hack reporter. It’s all so…pointless and embarrassing.

RFK Jr. seems to be (brain worm+chopping up baby chicks and mice in blender and the dead bear in Central Park thing?) , but he controls our nation's public health system. MAGA making us sicker by the day.

That much is clear.

The article is stupid, Olivia Nuzzi and Ryan Lizzo and RFKJ and Cheryl Hines are each unserious.

Jacob Bernstein is a stupid POS who got himself into hot water by trying to have a fun beeetchy chat at a party with Emily Ratajkowski - he called Melania a hooker or something and Emily made the conversation public. Now, I also have thoughts about FLOTUS but a journalist worth anything doesn’t get into that mess.

I miss news.

Agree, but she’s also smart and a talented writer, I’ll give her that.

But she isn’t! Jeez. I don’t get this at all. I read much better writing at Defector, Drop Site, The Guardian.

We're getting Temu versions of great historical figures these days.

God. Thank you. She’s not even among the great historical mistresses, who could read whole books and charm. And RFKJ is a pile of steroids in jeans and Timbs.

“So last week, as the New York mayoral returns came in and she sat at Mel’s Drive-In in Santa Monica, she was focused on the current mayor.

“Someone has got to be covering Eric Adams tonight,” she said.

What better way to memorialize Zohran Mamdani’s win than to capture it through the eyes of the evening’s ultimate loser, its incumbent mayor?

I made a joke about how Adams had seemingly thrown away his life just to fly business class.

Nuzzi shrugged.

“I destroyed mine for less,” she said.”

It is clear that like so many people who become successful or famous — they realize that the fame or success doesn’t fill the hole in their heart and they look for it in all kinds of bad places — affairs, attention from the sex you are attracted to, power, money, prestige, etc.

She literally had all of these things and yet couldn’t stop herself from making destructive choices.

And yet … I could totally relate when I think back to many screw ups.

The article says that she has been reading the King James Bible. I hope she reads it cover to cover. The Bible is the only book that changed my life.

I thought she was Jewish.

What’s that based on? Nuzzi sounds Italian so likely catholic.

Of all the political stories the past couple years, this one might well be the oddest.

He’s clearly got some swag considering how many women he has been with. I agree that a lot of them are airheads like Cheryl

He has the same swag as Trump. Some women are into rich, arrogant and shameless.

How can you dismiss RFK Jr. when he runs our national health care policy? He's as serious as Ebola.

Are you a bot? Nobody believes this shit. She’s posturing to pivot to right wing grifter e-girl ala Daily Wire, Candace Owens, et al.
