It's super clear that she's currently enchanted with herself for having taken off some weight she didn't like. OK cool. But she's obviously not exercising or working out along with the WL. She's just becoming what I've always heard referred to as skinny fat. There's no definition anywhere.

And her face hasn't changed at all ... 50/50 she decides to get that buccal fat removal surgery and just starts ruining herself.

I literally thought she was so much cuter before all this injection madness started, she still always looked fresh and her personality showed through. Now she's just starting to look more aged than she should be and potentially robbing herself of all the character she used to have.

Kind of reminds me of how Brittany Murphy had so much personality before she lost so much weight and went blonde, and just became this non-descript paper waif with none of the same individual screen charisma she'd had before.

And when Anna Nicole lost all that weight. She definitely wasn't fantastic at her heaviest, but when she trim spa'd down to that low weight it also didn't seem to do her any favors. See also Oprah dragging the meat wagon on stage, and when Elizabeth Taylor lost a ton of weight in the 80s.

Making your body skinnier doesn't always make it better.

I tend to agree with you, but I can’t imagine being in this industry 25 years like Amy and what it does to you. I think it’s why so many celebrity women go literally insane with their looks to the point where most of them look terrible. Even the young ones get bad work done. It’s abysmal.

Okay…but she’s supposed to be a comedian—or a comedic actress—not a Kardashian.

I agree with the other poster who essentially said the bikini pics are a red flag.

Imho normal people don’t seek this much attention, and they certainly don’t post bikini pics. It’s not even like they are vacation pics on a beach. She obviously took a series of pics in various swimsuits in rapid succession indoors and posted them. Not normal for anyone—even a Kardashian posts bikini pics in pools or beaches, not their living room.

I think she’s gone off the deep end.

she likes how she looks and is can't help herself. it will pass.

We get that she’s lost a bunch of weight and obviously likes how she looks.

But happy, well adjusted people—even celebs—do not play bikini dress-up in their house and post a bunch of pictures like that.

Honestly, I’ve always felt like Schumer had wild insecurities about herself coupled with a compulsion to be an exhibitionist. She’s posed naked for book covers, etc. even before she lost the weight. It’s not normal and a bit cringe to be this desperate for attention…and even worse given the current self-inflicted media attention around her divorce and weight loss. You would think her publicist would suggest she take a knee and just be quiet for a bit, but for some reason she’s ramping it up…and that speaks volumes.

Right, but she’s still very much in the industry. She does mainstream movies that do well. For train wreck she had to lose weight. She said it was tough, but she did it to do that cheer cheerleading scene.

Arguing she’s not in the entertainment industry because she’s a comedian is weird and doesn’t make any sense. Nicky Glaser doesn’t even do movies. She’s just a comedian and she talks about all the things she has to do to look good. All of the stuff that she does with her hair and hair extensions, she’s constantly showing off her legs because that is her best asset, and she’s copped to plastic surgery. Anytime you are getting up in front of audience in the same age, your looks are important.

many celebrities in the industry eventually succumb to some sort of craziness around their bodies and looks. Look at what Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper are doing too their faces and they are men. It’s even worse for women.

What are you prattling on about? Who is arguing she’s not in the industry?

The point is that she is not in the same industry as the Kardashians whose brand is using sex trap pics to remain relevant and sell products. Schumer is a comedian/actress. She has an actual talent/skill that serves as the basis of her Hollywood career. She is not a sex symbol, so it is very, very weird to try on a handful of bikinis and post pics from inside her house wearing them. She could have gotten away with one or two bikini pics on a beach/by a pool on vacation, but this was just beyond.

She's been kind of a b itch ever since she started Ozempic. That nasty post a few months ago about "Sorry if this triggers you."

We get it, you're a formerly fat girl who's now skinny but no one thinks about you, Amy Schumer.

OK, but I follow tons of actresses on Instagram and they constantly are posting bikini and lingerie photos and things. These are in some cases award-winning actresses. They all do it. It’s a very looks obsessed industry. It seems weird to single Amy out for doing this when I have seen most of Hollywood in bikinis multiple times.

Amy’s werent even thirst trap picks. She was just showing off her weight loss I thought in a tasteful way. whatever it clearly riles you up, but I personally think it’s fine and more normal than half of the things I see from celebs on Insta.

When you are posting really sexy photos on the beach, you are trying to be a sex symbol. Agree Amy is not one, but I thought the most recent round of bikini photos in her house were hardly sex photos. They weren’t thirst traps. Her mom was taking the pictures and many were high waisted bikinis. She was literally showing off her new body not trying to be a sex symbol? so if she had posted, thirst traps on the beach, you’d be fine with it? I’m just confused.

You are confused because you think it’s totally normal for anyone to play dress up with their mom in their house and then post a bunch of bikini shots on social media? Because you think this is totally normal?

I’m saying it’s not normal.

You wouldn’t do it.

And even most celebs don’t do this.

It is weird.

Why would anyone—especially a celeb who has routinely been judged harshly for her appearance—open herself up to criticism by posting bikini pics on social media?

Think about that. What does that say about her?

???? Feel like it’s just not that deep. She’s going through a divorce. It’s a new year. People go through stuff.

It's funny how celebrities who are dying for attention post their corny "risque" pics everywhere but the moment someone asks the obvious question like, what caused you to ask for a divorce, these celebs will whine about privacy. Nobody on God's green earth is curious about what she looks like in a bikini but many are curious what the hell happened in the marriage. He seems too autistic to be a cheater, and she doesn't seem like the cheater type either. Very sad for their child that they couldn't work it out.

She’s still repulsive on a visceral level.
