How are conservatives in US (specifically in Middle America and Bible Belt) so supportive of Israel ye are anti-Semitic?

It’s sad to read this thread and the insane anti Jewish sentiment. So much of it based on complete ignorance about Jews, Israel, and/or Palestine. But most of it clearly anchored in hatred for Jews. If you swapped out Jew / Israeli for half of the things here with some other group of people (Arabs, blacks, women), the thread would be locked by the admin.

Horseshoe effect is on. But so is a sad display of normalized hate.

No one likes a bully. That's what Israel has become.

It's 2025. Few people give a damn about religious nut jobs in the Middle East, Christians, Jews, Muslims or any children who aren't their own. It is what it is. Get over it.
This is a pure example of how this country just leads by anger and a lack of empathy in this world. You just lead by anger and it’s systematic of the country at this moment, your post.

This is bullshit.

I've seen some anti-Jewish comments, and reported them. But the overwhelming have been anti-Israel, which is NOT the same as anti-Jewish. That's like saying being anti-Saudi is the same as being anti-Muslim (which it is absolutely not).

Being against a religious nationalist state is not the same as anti-Semitism. And the more you make that absurd correlation, the less it helps actual, real cases of anti-Semitism.

I think we have some Israeli trolls that try to control the messaging (like the poster you quoted) Their online campaign was really obvious from the beginning. They attacked any nuance as anti-Semitic.

It has nothing to do with "a lack of empathy in this world" or "anger". Religion, particularly in the West, is becoming less and less a part of culture and society with each passing generation. The power and influence of Christians, Muslims, and Jews continues to dwindle. It is what it is. These are facts. Not anyone's opinions.

People simply just aren't as fixated as they once were with religions created thousands of years ago to police society. This has nothing to do with empathy. It just means that when Christians, Muslims, and Jews try to make everything about themselves, their religions, or their hate for people who practice other religions, normal people simply don't care as much. Most of us see all people the same and don't give a rat terd if or what God they worship. Get over it.

Unfortunately, “the power of Christians” in the US FAR outweighs their membership. Their churches may be decreasing, but our country is being RUN by Christian Nationalists and those who exploit Christianity for votes.

Exhibit A to post above. Demonization, delegitimization, and double standards are the three legs of antisemitism. Calling Israel the bully reflect this.

Wow, the fruitcakes are out in full force this morning. 98% of the American electorate are exploited for their votes in one way or another and you gullible sheep continue to fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

You have every right to practice religion as you wish but your precious church doesn't run diddly squat in this country. Our awful POTUS is an atheist. If you don't like the way our country is being run, stop blaming a few moronic attention seeking skinheads and change your voting habits.

You are either profoundly naive or you pretending to be. Christian Nationalism isn’t “a few skinheads”.

Bullshit. Protecting them from what? Assad was from a similar Islamic sect Alawi that celebrated Christmas just like Druze.

The argument that Israel’s protecting anybody especially Arabs is hilarious. They don’t even build bomb shelters for them. They were the ones who mostly died last month with that aborted mission/Iran war

Druze don't observe religious Christmas.
Syrian police service is at war against the Druze in Syria.

Note the page you referenced is now deleted and the clashes (if there were any) are from April-May 2025 after Assad’s fall and Israel’s settlement of Southern Syria. Of course clashes are going on whenever Israel gets its claws somewhere

I've been around a long time, lived all over the country and still travel frequently. I know of not a single "Christian Nationalist" or skinhead and those freaks out there that do exist have had absolutely zero influence on my life or the life of anyone I know. I'll bet the same goes for you.

Turn off the cable news, leave your mom's basement, and get out to talk to real people. Immigrants aren't eating your neighbor's pets. 99% of Muslims, Jews, and Christians are loving people with a lot more in common than you or they realize. Extremism is a thing but those idiots are small in number. Come on out and join us in the real world and you'll begin to understand what I'm talking about.
