Enough is enough

The trend is in the opposite direction, my friend. HOSs will be pocketing voucher money too soon enough.

Serious questions--how do you know this? Are you on the board of all three? Is this information available publicly?

Is all available publicly. Religious schools don’t have to report but you can bet there in the same range. WES head it almost 500k total comp you have to thinks NPS- St. Pat’s could be more than that.

Every time the head of school talks about fundraising and donations, just think what fraction of your donation goes to his pocket.

It’s a little bit like those ngos that do fundraising and most of the money people donate goes just to pay for administrative staff and very little money go to the actual cause.

Same with private schools. Donations go to a bloated administrative staff, including rich head of schools.

Pull your kid(s) from the school, convince all your fellow parents to do the same, and convince the applicant families to withdraw their applications.

Short of that, this situation will not change.

I will just donate $1 so there is less money for the hos.

This is part of the reason we severely lowered our donation amount. Once we realized that how much the HOS was making and accounted for it being more than our local Superintendent for less work, it just didn’t make any sense.

Wise choice. In a free market economy there is freedom of choice, so we should be donating our money to the causes that convince us that they are making the world a better place, not increasing the bank account of an individual.

The whole donation concept for private secondary schools is DUMB. Just charge the tuition necessary to operate. I never donate anything.

If daycare centers can do it, so can secondary schools. I’ve never received a donation requsdd from my daycare and it’s at least as expensive to operate per student as any private school.
