Why are nova trolls always like this? It’s almost comical, like you’re are given a script when moving to nova. I don’t think about nova at all when living in moco and life is good Comparing anything and everything. It’s just a movie theater. They’re all the same. Now most even have reclining seats |

This is true. |
Maybe your friends in Arlington are diligently squirreling their money away in 529s, but I assure that ultra high net worth individuals are not using 529s, and there are plenty of ways to "harness the power of compounding" without putting your money into a 529. Lol |
Arguing about a movie theater is low-IQ Boomer Facebook nonsense. Please touch grass and heal. |
Are you seriously saying people with 10MM-30MM + net worth don’t front load a 529 or invest money? The asset owning class maintains their power and influence through compounding their money |
| Goldman’s private wealth banking does offer a 529 but it’s not something i ever used. |
It’s not just movie theaters, it’s literally every amenity you can go to that’s nicer. Loudoun, Fairfax, and Falls Church are three of the Top 10 richest counties in the country based on per capita income. More per capita income brings nicer, and more amenities and usually means less crime and a higher quality of life. This isn’t an edgy opinion. It’s just how things go. |
This is dumb. MoCo is like 15th. It’s a negligible difference between 10 and 15 |
There's a Nova troll on this board, and in every moco thread, he surfaces with these sorts of comparisons. Very insecure person. I think he moved from moco to nova (because he is very familiar with moco), and he seems intent to prove that he made the right choice. |

Lol I’m late to the party here but just wanted to comment this is a statement that really makes you look dumb. Like really dumb. |
I disagree. If you have enough money to have a financial advisor to manage trusts for your kids, why wouldn’t the financial advisor place some of the kid’s money through a 529? Why pay tax when you can pay no tax? Do you like paying taxes when you don’t have to? Sounds like you’re a dumb and poor W-2 wageslave. |
| Re: "full ride at Harvard" claimed above. Harvard, Yale, others in Ivy League base all "rides" on demonstrated need. Getting a full ride from Harvard means that you need aid to pay their tuition, not that you or your child is more intelligent than other classmates there. |
The quote function didn’t work. The late to the party commenter was calling out as dumb the comment said UHNW’s aren’t using 529s |
| Trivalah is number one in a lot of rankings. |
