Name one falsehood. I promised to shut up so long as the school wasn’t compared with top notch schools like Duke and Dartmouth, and BC fans were incapable of exhibiting that restraint. Go back to enjoying your Doug Flutie highlight reel, he’s the biggest alum you’ll ever have.

I posted the SAT range of enrolled students, that’s an actual statistic. When did I say no BC students have hooks?

Bottom half students get into BC fairly reasonably. Do you categorically deny this? Are you will to gander whether bottom half students go to MIT except in the most extreme, bizarre scenarios?

There is definitely someone in this post with an weird anti-BC agenda. I posted twice about my high stats kid who was waitlisted and was told twice that I'm a liar and a troll. I assure you I'm not and neither are the other kids I know who were also waitlisted despite being well into the top half of the class.

Back to OP’s post. Your kid will be great wherever she lands. Some places that come to mind for the middle 50% of a “typical” private school (not one filled with famous, super wealthy powerful people) are Allegheny, Hobart and William Smith, Elon, Lawrence, and Furman.

There are multiple posters. And no, I do not believe an applicant with a stellar GPA, SAT, and other credentials gets deferred from BC unless it was BC protecting yield because they knew the applicant would go to a better school. BC isn’t ND or Gtown or Vanderbilt and the sooner posters act like it the better.
