Actually, it's exactly 999 million.

Anyway, according to a study by UBS Global Wealth Management, there are almost 24.5 million millionaires in the United States, 29,506 in D.C. alone (collected value of $29.5 billion). But there are only 756 billionaires in the United States, and only 11 of them in D.C. (collected value of $11 billion). Hmm... that darn math.

The math here is wrong, but you don't seem capable of realizing it.

Then show us the correct math. I'm just using a baseline $1M and $1B to get the conversation started. The billionaires may very well have the greater net value once all the math is complete, but the number of millionaires exceeds the number of billionaires no matter how you try to spin those numbers. The point is, the rest of us who are neither view both groups with equal scorn and find it amusing that only one of those groups gets under your skin. I'd like to know how many of our elected officials fall in either category.

Do you think that $20 is closer to $1 or $20,000?

$20 is closer to $1 than $20,000.

Which number is larger: 24,500,000 or 756? 29,506 or 11?

It's okay to hate both millionaires and billionaires. Maybe you could explain why you find one group nobler than the other, instead of arguing numbers. You're defending one over the other, I'm defending neither.

We’ve been check-mated. The right is complicit. SCOTUS is of no use and on maga’s side. We are never coming back from this. So buckle up America. Or prove me wrong.

With all of your complaining, we just got out of four years of you democrats running govt. If you lament a dark era, look inward.

Hint: you live in the belly of the beast, Wash DC. That colors your perspective.

I felt some "dark energy" myself a few years back when we were sliding towards totalitarianism over a virus. Now things are finally looking up and the dwindling prospects of millionaire dual-Fed couples are not on most Americans' radar.

No we were not. Put it this way: the very fact that wild conspiracy and anti-scientific theories spread as much as they did is proof.

Despite every effort at censorship.
And most of them ended up being true.
But you probably still think Joe is sharp as a tack behind closed doors, right? I await that memoir.

I wish everyday since this nightmare began that Biden was still president.

You are criticizing Biden and your current president spells and speaks on a 2nd gr level.

Thousands of illegal immigrants let in per day. Trump has this down to about 0.

Biden deported more than Trump.

No kidding. Trump didn't let them in, in the first place.

By that “logic” we should all hate the poor since there are more of them than anyone…

I’m done trying to educate you. Your feeble brain is incapable of comprehending what we’re discussing here. Have fun at your next Nazi rally.

What a sad, pathetic and perverted MAGA snowflake. Probably closeted, too.

Gah, don't mention the ones with the beards who are pregnant. Some serious intersection of testosterone and estrogen.

Why bother with a Nazi rally when you can go to a pro abortion rally that supports the same principle of eugenics.

This.

As a native DC-er, I come here to see what my old hometown thinks and it’s comical how out of touch it is with the rest of the US.

*This post will likely be deleted soon as it doesn’t subscribe to the DC Urban standards, LOL

Literally why do you care? Why does it bother you? You know the most secure person I know? My husband. He's a former D1 college football player, Ivy League law grad, big law partner. He has never spent a single second of his life bothered by someone's pronouns or what bathroom they use, because he has a life Sorry you're such a miserable pissant that you are bothered by stuff that literally doesn't affect you in any way.

I believe it, because you're on here and he's not.

So you agree, you have no life?

I kind of agree but then again Biden was just a weak president with poor leadership skills. Biden never said anything close to "he who saves the country does not violate any law" and Biden never went AWOL during a moment when our national security was at stake. Comparing Biden's general weakness as a POTUS to Trump's dark words and actions is comparing apples to oranges. There is reason for the American people to have heightened concerns about the short term future of the country with Trump in office.

NP. It is not surprising that a wealthy, undoubtedly white, former D1 football player, male law partner in DC does not care about the victimization of women and children. It is also not surprising that the woman whose lifestyle depends on that professionalized psychopathy defends it eagerly.

We already know all this. You didn’t have to explain it. The people who are fighting to protect women and girls will continue to ignore you and your misogynist husband.

$20 has two digits in common with $20,000, and none in common with $1, so you could say it’s closer to $20,000 in that way.

Explain to me how you having to call someone ma'am victimizes women and children? Because I'm a woman and I don't feel victimized. My guess is you're a man and deciding FOR ME what victimizes me. You're the misogynist. But you knew that.

And yet Americans continue to think millionaires are closer to billionaires than they are to the average American…

So actually most Americans get this wrong.
