and some will submit both .. so less than 59% ... maybe close to 50? or 55? |
The graduation rate at WVU isn’t even good. No wonder they let smart kids in to boost the school. This is an odd comparison too. You just compared a #4 public university to one that didn’t even make the top 100. You do know WVU is in a different state right? It’s not in Virginia. |
You don’t have to be a captain or leader of something at school. They do look for leadership traits but that could simply be expressed in so many ways other than a club or sport . |
+1 This is good. |
| Stats bump |
Any chance they actually go test-required? |
| There is a chance. We aren’t mind readers though. You’ll have to wait and see. |
There is definitely a chance, based on the presentation from the admissions office before the tour earlier this month. Other options could definitely be on the table, but it sounded like they wanted current juniors to be prepared in case they do need a test score. |
Well, I definitely got the 71% when I googled. Coukd be stats from a different year. It's only 12% apart. |
WVUis now $41k all in, which makes it more expensive than UVA all-in |
|
| So many better schools in Virginia |
12% is a lot. |

NOVA-EA
GPA: 4.3, 17 APs. Good AP scores but did not submit. SAT: 1330 (TO) Unhooked but lots of EC with leadership roles. Took foreign language to level IV in 10th grade, but nothing in 11th or 12th. Also got into UNC and Michigan with these stats. |
| Really? And 17AP with a 4.3? |
