Foxhall stops OB support for DD after 1/20/25 - help new provider recs??

I just got a letter dated today about Dr. Lightfoote.

“We are writing to let you know that, effective January 1, 2025, Dr. Lynne Lightfoote no longer will be affiliated with Foxhall Women’s Health. Dr. Lightfoote’s last day will be December 31, 2024. We apologize for the short notice.”

I noticed that Dr. Abraham was not on the letterhead anymore and so I searched online and then for this thread. I appreciate the person who posted that Dr. Abraham had left in November and her Instagram contact information. I had no idea and she’s the only person I have seen at Foxhall for a good number of years! Did they send out a letter about her?

No letter for Abraham. Lightfoote was very grumpy on telemedicine guess she was pissed off .

Thanks for that info, I wonder why would they send out a letter about Lightfoote but not about Abraham?

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I saw this practice with my first pregnancy (my OB moved years ago but Pardo did my D&C and she was great). I would have stuck with them if we hadn't moved to Arlington.

I saw Lightfoot once years ago. She was dreadful. Very dismissive and rude to me. No way would I go back to her.

Pardo hasn't done OB in a few years now so I imagine she will stay...I hope so! She is awesome.

Pardo used to be good but the past few years or so something about her has changed. She isn't very nice anymore.

I left after my doc (Green) went concierge. I love(d) her! But after I was done with kids, didn't seem to make sense. I hope their new structure works out for them and their patients. I am grateful for the care I got from Green and the team.

They don't have many doctors. Pardo sounds meh. What does concierge mean for Green? You pay a retainer?
I hope I don't need a gyn in the next month. Am talking to VHC in a few weeks. Live in Arlington

I see Dr. Green. She doesn’t accept insurance, which is highly annoying. Even ultrasounds in the office are considered out of network. I really like her but am considering leaving the practice because I find the insurance situation really frustrating.

I second this. Lightfoote is the most dismissive and rude doctor I’ve ever seen. Period.

No letter sent for Dr Abraham or Dr Bren. Looks like you can contact Dr Abraham on instagram or by email [e-mail] if you want to be part of her new practice.

Abraham is leaving to start her own practice. She wont' be doing ob, just gyn. I'm not sure about Green.

Surprising. Why leave if she isn't going to do OB? Is what's left of Foxhall that bad? Surprised they didn't just sell the practice to CWC if that's the case and keep everybody.

Apparently Bren and Abraham were not given the option to stay.
