As a man I dislike plastic surgery on the face if it shows
It’s not very attractive at all and most of it shows Funnily enough I’m dating a 35yr old who has had quite a bit of work done and it shows But I love her! Its kinda like the woman who says she will never date anyone under 6’ but ends up with a 5’8 guy because he is great and ticks each and every other box she had |
? He is welcome to leave. |
+1 and once your hubby knows, he sees it everywhere too! |
Holy moly the overly defensive freaks are out on this thread. Way to post it here and not Health topics. It’s been eye opening. Someone pls put photos so we Dcum men can tell a Botox forehead from a non Botox forehead. No im curious! How much this cost? |
Someone here must sell or administer Botox and have a temper. Agree having a drink versus getting botox is not the same thing. I don’t think either is bad but I’m not going to be a lunatic trying to defend it. |
Sounds like the midlife crisis Ozempic crowd. Flappy skin surgery is on the rise too, and that’s a painful long recovery. |
It just depends what circles you run in. Wash DC is not Brazil, Miami, LA or Dallas. And white collar senior exec women don’t have a month to take off for body enhancement surgery. Life has enough hiccups. |
I dont think most men notice. But there is a point of (too much) plastic surgery where like attracts like.
Similar to how drama attracts drama. |
I’m doing Botox and injectables once a year and have small breast implants. Let me tell you - men notice shit! I only get complements how naturally beautiful I am.
I don’t over inject and just correct mimic folds around the mouth and raise eye brows. I’m also naturally young looking - usually Botox in unnoticeable on pretty women, and very noticeable on those who try to change their appearance to “become “ beautiful. |
I don’t have wrinkles or lines, I live a stress free life! |
FYI, Botox might be linked to ALS. The type of ALS that starts in the mouth disproportionately strikes older women, who also happen to be the target market of Botox.
Data: https://www.ehealthme.com/ds/botox/amyotrophic-lateral-sclerosis/ |
Of the nearly 70,000 users who reported side effects using Botox, 16 have reported having ALS. That’s your link? Do people even read and think about the links they post? |
That's more than double the occurence in the general population. |
Actually, ALS might be 4x as common among Botox users than the general population. 16 ALS cases out of 70,000 Botox users = 0.02% Current prevalence of ALS in the US estimated at 5 people out of 100,000 = 0.005% |
I don’t have plastic surgery but I’ve heard from women who got their boobs done that, even though their husbands weren’t thrilled about the idea, they couldn’t keep their eyes and hands off of them once they did.
While I think few people love the balloon bolt on type, a skilled surgeon can do amazing things. |
