What’s the situation? He hasn’t kept his two daughters a secret.

I see Trump handled his first ex wife just fine.

Nobody cares about an acrimonious divorce twenty years ago. They've been good for a long time now.

Kelly's ex-wife just gave an interview where she said Harris was not useful as VP and would be unlikely to be useful as President. She said Kelly would be a better president than Harris and she'd prefer to see a ticket without Harris. With "friends" like that ...

Link? I can't find anything remotely like that.

"‘Personally, I would prefer a ticket without Kamala on it. I’d pick Mark over her. I don’t see what use she was to Joe Biden and I’m not sure she would be very useful as President. ‘I'm not a woman of color, but I just think there should be other reasons to be excited about a potential presidential candidate than their gender and their race. ‘Mark has friends on both sides of the aisle and I think he’s someone who can bridge the two sides and bring an end to all the hatred and ugliness. He would be a good Vice President or President.’"

So just a republican than still likes her ex. Meh. Her opinion on Harris is meaningless. Not sure why she thinks anyone should value her opinion on that.

She would know that her comments about Harris would not be helpful to Kelly, suggesting animosity remains.

Who cares? She is some random woman with an opinion. Does not matter.

An angry ex-wife of a VP candidate is a wildcard. Who knows what other interviews she would give during the campaign and what she would say.

Except she's not angry. You're just making stuff up. Keep grasping at straws.

Her VP pick doesn’t enter the presidential line of succession until Harris is elected and sworn in.

These "attacks" on Kelly are so silly they're funny and just show how immune he'd be.

This posts says far more about you than it does about them.

+1 what an awful thing to say

Reuters is also running a story that the nature of requests made by the DP to Wall Street donors indicates that a governor - and not a senator - will be on the ticket.

And the rally is in Philly.

I think Mark is the smarter choice, but the smart money is on Josh right now.

Is this statement antisemetic?

You are stone cold crazy, dear friend.

I did not perceive her statement as angry. It was very grounded explanation.

Mbut she is not a presidential nominee. What authority does she have to pick a vice president?

You don't publicly insult someone's prospective boss during the interview process if you're on their side. If you say damaging things with a smile on your face, you have plausible deniability. "Gee honey, I said you were a great guy. Oops about insulting your prospective boss. Hope that doesn't hurt your consideration for the job."

Being Republican and not having even a basic understanding of how our political system works.

Can you name a more iconic duo?

Only if you think that the only reason to pick Shapiro is his heritage. If you think there are other good reasons to select either candidate, then it is not.

Only because you are conflating her current job with the job that she is running for.

The current VP is not picking the next VP. The current Presidential nominee is picking her Vice Presidential running mate for election.

You clearly don't pay any attention to history (except when you want to, like Thomas and Alito). If Gerald Ford and John Rockefeller did not kill the Constitution, then this won't either. This is extremely further from breaking those clauses than Agnew resigning, Ford being appointed VP, Nixon resigning, Ford being elevated to POTUS and selecting Rockefeller.

Yup. It's pretty crazy that we've already had an unelected President in our nation's history.
