She took the fall for the board. She's levels above Beidelman and her staff and the board failed her. She was just a scape goat and that happened to be popular with the groups that were against an AA super from day one. |

| She was a poor old scape goat. The kind of scapegoat that is able to extract millions of public dollars away from poor students by playing the race card. She also exhibits zero accountibilility or responsibility for many many crimes against staff that create hostile work environments. Maybe the crackpots at U of Md feel their campus needs to be more racist and hostile. |

How did fox 5 find Dawn of all people to comment. I don’t agree with McKnights hiring but Dawns comments are insane. “I’m not saying I want anything bad to happen to her but…” good lord. |

This is a shocking revision of history. As Joels former colleague, there's no way she wasn't aware of the long history of inappropriate behavior. Even if she somehow managed to miss that, she would have been personally aware when he was suggested for promotion to the high school level. Even if she was so oblivious as to miss that promotion, the chief human resource officer reports directly to her, and was handling the allegations against him, not to mention the suspension of the individual who conducted the original investigation that found evidence of sexual harassment and bullying. But even if she was so incompetent that all of that flew under her radar, this story ran in the Washington Post. There were months after that point where she could have taken the reins and did not. In order to believe that she didn't know, she would have needed to be catastrophically, incompetent, and oblivious. The other option is that she was part of the toxic machine that let this go on for so long. Neither suggests she is well suited for this new position. |

I had the same exact thought. She inserts herself into every single thing MCPS all to get some airtime in the name of “speaking her mind.” It’s pathetic. |

It was a reference to victim blaming which is exactly what you’re doing right now. Just because someone may have submitted nudes, doesn’t make them a willing participant. JB was a person in charge of them and their careers… a person in power. He abused that power by asking for them. How don’t understand this yet,Joel? That’s like saying a high schooler who sent nudes to a teacher who was grooming them was a willing participant. You’re shameful and disgusting. |

Cant the education system just shame this lady for her corruption and irresponsibility. Not give her more prize jobs after she extracted millions from the public. The fact that she took the money and ran when she was rewarded for irresponsibility regarding degraded and harrassed teachers is shameful.
Its like University of Maryland inviting harrassment and assault on staff to happen. Hire this lady- she knows how our corrupt system runs. Bazinga! |

Methinks McKnight has friends in high places. Talk about a major privilege when someone can simply create a high paying job for you at a university despite of royally messing up at your last position that they have to pay you over a mil to GTFO. This is what our tax dollars are going to, my friends. What a world we live in. |
