Very well corrected. Biden may drop out for the good of the country. Trump won’t drop out unless he drops dead. |
DP and also a South Asian woman. It’s practicality because of the country we live in. A nonwhite woman isn’t going to get enough support in the states that actually count to be elected president. It would have to be one or the other. And the point of elevating her would be to win against Trump, otherwise we could just keep Biden. This is a separate point from her just generally being a lightweight and just not an inspiring candidate. Even if you disagree with my point above, she’d also lose in the swing states on the merits. People, including Democrats, don’t like her. |
Why should Trump drop out? He won a competitive primary. On the Democratic side, any serious candidate who thought about challenging Joe, like RFK Jr, was frozen out. Now it appears that Joe was only meant to make it through July, then the real primary happens behind closed doors. Naturally when the D candidate is selected, DCUM will dutifully gush over its new hero. |
Same. Anything less is a disservice to democracy. I’ll support whoever emerges out of the open convention but will not settle for an appointee from the DNC—I no longer trust their judgment |
He is not a convicted felon. He has been found guilty by a jury of a felony. For now those are two different things. |
BIG STORY: BIDEN HAS A COLD DURING DEBATE Following day: busy schedule campaigning and events in North Carolina and New York going well into the evening. Following day: Packed with events in NY and NJ into the evening, then flight to Camp David. No events sunday. Monday: Busy day and speech giving a strong rebuke of SCOTUS, working well into the evening. Tuesday: A busy day including a visit to the DC Emergency Operations Center, a speech on heat emergencies, campaign event into the evening in VA. Wednesday: Busy day of work, Medal of Honor Ceremony, and an evening meeting with the Democratic Governors Association. Yeah sure sounds like someone who's "vegetative" - Even in his old age Biden could probably run circles around his DCUM critics. |
He is not a convicted felon. He has been found guilty by a jury of a felony. For now those are two different things. |
He is a convicted felon awaiting sentencing. Conviction and sentencing are two different things. His conviction may be vacated or voided in the future, but we live now, in the present. And he is a convicted felon, right now. |
Why, you think by some miracle the court is somehow going to ignore the jury? Conviction happens by one of three ways: 1. the defendant pleads guilty 2. it's a bench trial and the judge finds the defendant guilty 3. the jury finds the defendant guilty. Their decision has been rendered and is a matter of record in the court proceeding. The only thing that hasn't happened is sentencing. |
No it’s good. He needs to step down. |
WHY is a felon running for president? Why isn’t THAT the big story? |
Biden should drop out because he is running a campaign that regularly lets Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung into their conference calls, while he is signing in with his own name and e-mail. He reports on the latest call that was made to reassure staffers, Biden forgot the name of his chief of staff. |
Amazing how you pretend to be so medically astute as to diagnose Biden's supposed "vegetative state" 🤡 yet you somehow completely missed the fact that he was quite obviously hoarse and congested during the debate. Consider your armchair medical credentials REVOKED, clown. |
It is also a story, dope. What rock are you living under? |
We’re gonna throw away the Republic to some Orange fatso felon petty dictator, all because the other dude was 3 years older. Very sad |
