Another ADHD DS who had a difficult HS- who got into a small VA liberal arts university! He is so excited and thrilled. This is the perfect spot for him to be- lots of supports and we are so excited! He carries himself a little taller, with more confidence since getting that accepetance! There IS a college for everyone!

This thread makes me so happy. Normal non ultracompetitive parents really enjoying their kids (and other kids) fantastic admits. This is what we should all be doing, every day. The competitive madness is so heartbreaking on many levels. This thread has restored my faith in humanity!

My son is a college freshman, but I remember how happy he was when he saw the big envelopes come in the mail. It was exciting! Enjoy this time and your child’s accomplishments!

Accepted at ODU, Va Tech, U Delaware. Waiting on UVA. Deferred Purdue, will not complete LOCI.
