except when RL teams beat ECNL teams then it sure does get confusing

So do you know that song from the Lego Movie. It’s called “Everything is Awesome.” Well if you change the word ‘Everything’ to ‘NVA’ it sounds really great. NVA is awesome. NVA is cool when you part of a team! NVA is awesome when you’re living our dream!

You rarely get to see RL teams matched up against ECNL teams. They know it's a bad look for that to happen and those matches are few and far between.

GFR 09 is better than NVA 09.

When has that happened?

It's always happened. Tournament directors and clubs scheduling aren't stupid. Teams have dodged other teams that aren't in the same league but may be equally as strong forever. It's the same reason clubs in areas with a lot strong teams go elsewhere for tournaments rather than play locally. You lose locally, you lose customers.

Every day at NVA.

NL teams are not chasing got soccer points. They enter bigger local tournaments looking for extra games to give the bench more playing time. On the flip side clubs with RL and NL will send NL starters to bolster the RL teams in the big games outside of league play. So there is more parity and not reflective of level of play in their leagues. Yes there are exceptions.

So many know it alls on this board that don’t know anything. Like Shakira says results don’t lie.

This is our experience on our nl team in tourneys and we send down bench players to rl in regular season too.

Every day at NVA.

And every single day in Arlington too - happens a lot. Clubs have plenty of high level kids in their RL and choose to never move them up - rather just scout from outside the club to bring in more money and steal talent from other NL teams in the area. You'll be a fool if you think leaving your club for another club means less of this nonsense. Its all politics everywhere you go

I didn’t know Great Falls parents had such a crack addiction but I do now. Thanks for the proof!

Ummm, no. Tournament directors try to keep things competitive. RL teams are not competitive with ECNL teams unless you are talking about the bottom of the teams. I think most would expect Top RL teams to be competitive in that scenario.

Please, by all means, give A FEW examples of any RL team beating a top half ECNL team without citing forfeits or Solar. I’ll be waiting right here …for a long time.
