Combining both WCAC and ISL, think the top 4 - in no order - will be SSSA, Visi, SR and GC.

One level down, the next 4 - in no order - will likely be: SJC, Potomac, PVI and BI.

Will be interesting to see if anyone not mentioned can jump into these two groups.

I think you will be surprised. But we will see!

You take any of their starters off the field, especially the middies, and they are going to struggle. I heard they have some new solid recruits, including a goalie transfer. It would be good to see them compete for a championship. It wasn’t until the last 3 years that they became a part of a conversation. The program has come a long way in a short time, but they have to figure some things out. They have a new assistant coach who may be able to help the head coach make better decisions and not get out coached when playing strong teams.

SR is loaded and feels like the front runner in the ISL. They are stacked with D1 commits and strong underclassman.

If SR is on top how come they didn’t advance at Spooky Nook and their indoor season hasn’t been great ?

SJ has been practicing since November. Why does the administration allow all their teams to cheat? The baseball team and boys lacrosse teams practice year around.
If they live up to expectations, it is due to cheating.

Conditioning and stick skills work isn’t cheating. If your players aren’t working to get better your at the wrong school.

Preseason polls don't mean squat. Let's see how this poll looks in about a month.

It’s only a poll. Relax.

Must be a dad with a daughter not on one of the teams? SJ/BI/SSSA/PVI/Potomac?

Still nice to be on the list. At least to start!

They all play lacrosse and practice year-round. Even in middle school

You clearly don’t have a kid at a top lax school. They all do this. And they probably all do it following the rules which is there is no official school involvement. You can’t be a top player or team and not have off season practice or workouts. For any sport for that matter.

Actually, PVI and SSSA were mentioned as just outside the top 20 so kudos to them too.

GCS won 11-9

Surprised with that one...GCS still has some very good players, but lost a lot. This is their last year of relevance unfortunately.

We also don't know exactly how each team subbed, etc. It's a decent indicator but doesn't tell the full story. Every school approaches scrimmages a little differently. IMO, winning is important but scrimmages are really about evaluating depth, figuring out line combinations, rotating all goalies, etc.
