| SR 7 Mcd 6. Final |
| In a play day scrimmage |
We all know it was a play day scrimmage, you could just say congrats to a bunch of teenagers who upset a no 1 ranked team. Or you could say nothing and move on. |
| Congrats to them for winning a practice game. |
| It's a good win, but still a scrimmage. And they are celebrating like it was a real game. Don't forget, they also just lost to GCS. |
We also don't know exactly how each team subbed, etc. It's a decent indicator but doesn't tell the full story. Every school approaches scrimmages a little differently. IMO, winning is important but scrimmages are really about evaluating depth, figuring out line combinations, rotating all goalies, etc. |
| How did they do against BI? |
Or they could not boast on Instagram pretending it was a real win |
If no one knew any better it looks like it was a regular season game win. |
| BI won |
They must have lost to Ireton or they would have posted that too as if it was a real win |
| I think Ireton played McDonough too. |
|
BI beat up on SR
McD beat BI by 11 They were all scrimmages. |
These 3 results seem a bit contradictory. |
Not really. I bet both SR and BI had tired legs going into their second back to back game, so they probably subbed a lot and used backup goalies. BI definitely sounded like a much improved look from last year. |
