So? Many women are misogynistic and biased against other women. That’s just the culture we live in. It doesn’t make it right. |
Weight loss is the only example of something where people strive to argue they are part of the average to show it’s impossible long term. Population as a whole as they say. |
The previous comment alleged that it was thin people who are biased against fat people. I am correcting them. Don’t shoot the messenger. |
Same. They are obsessed with protein, meat in particular, but never think about how they are eating almost no fiber. They are also wrong about protein being what makes you feel full. |

Well sure, if you're only looking at BMI - and not resting heart rate, lung/breathing health, the lowered stress on your bones/joints, not to mention lower body fat percentage or degree of muscle mass. BMI is a very rough guideline, at best. But to say that people who lose weight via incorporating a regular exercise routine and more whole foods diet "aren't any healthier" is a load of bunk. Dropping 50+lbs the old fashioned way has lowered my resting heart rate by nearly 25 beats, from 80-85ish to 55-60. That isn't a small thing. |
NP. Ugh you are the worst type of DCUM poster, go away. your stupid quotes and your rudeness and you (vomit). No one is impressed by you mentioning pubmed lol. PP's mom may have better info and less rudeness than you, it wouldn't be hard. Bye. |
Nah, the worst sort of DCUM poster is one who lacks any knowledge or training, and then tries to cite their mom as a source. This is worse than the pre-med student claiming medical knowledge. Go ahead and celebrate your ignorance. Bye! |
The animals are treated unethically. |
You can incorporate a regular exercise routine and eat more whole food without losing weight and vice versa. You can lose weight without adding regular exercise or eating more fruits and vegetables. Ask any teenage girl. |
Why can't you elevate the places you go instead of lower them? Express your points respectfully and all. |

Shoes are bad for your health. They enable you to move in ways nature didn’t intend. That puts stress on the entire kinetic chain which leads to long term orthopedic problems.

Why do my feet hurt so bad unless I wear my ugly but super supportive Hokas? |
Constant protein signals IGF1 which can also promote cancer and other stuff. Cycling between high and suppressed IGF 1 is probably best for longevity, along with increased protein intake when over 65. I have done a few fasts followed by high protein to take advantage of both autophagy and increases muscle building after but generally do not follow high protein diet, esp with a high cvd risk in my family. |
