I think you should be a snowbird and live in NYC during warm months, and either Hilton Head or somewhere between Tampa and Marco island during winter.
Home doesn’t have to mean just a single location. |

| I'd go to New England, buy a cute little cottage in a college town with a white picket fence and roses spilling over the fence. But before doing that I'd buy a camper van and travel around to see what I like, then rent for a year or so. |

Southwest resident here -- we have hardly any insects, and everywhere has spiders and snakes. I couldn't imagine living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan -- I've never seen so many huge bugs. |
