I have to wonder how this will work for California and abortion laws. They are seeking to be a sanctuary state for all people seeking abortions, and to pay for the abortions. At some point, they may find that they cannot keep up with demand. Even if the $ works out by attracting tourists-- take a vacation and get the abortion free-- there are a limit to how many doctors and hospitals can supply abortions, especially for late stage and complicated ones.
I think it may not be wise to announce that you will care for and provide for anyone who appears within your state borders.
Once again, this is incorrect. "Sanctuary city"
only means they will not check immigration status or enforce federal immigration laws. It DOES NOT mean a promise of free food and housing and everything else.
This has been pointed out dozens and dozens of times on DCUM. Stop repeating nonsense.
