Ask one of your friends to explain the insult to you. |
Really, it hasn’t. Remember: GOP is the party of insurrection and being anti-American and anti-freedom. This is why both Trump and DeSantis are LOWER than Biden in approval ratings. If the GOP was going to win in a backlash against Biden, that would have happened in November. |
You're making my point. Bc Reagan increased his approval rating to 58 at the time of his reelection. I've been saying the whole time that if he doesn't improve that number, he's cooked. And he's been at 40 or below for a year and a half. You guys are acting like that number doesn't matter; it really really does. |
+1 when everything is racist, it loses all meaning and no serious discussion can be had. And I am a woman, borderline feminist. |
So you don’t understand how inflation works. |
Weird list. Counter: — He “handled” the pandemic just fine and transitioned us out of it. — Trump and his policies set the stage for the Afghanistan withdrawal. It’s strange you blame Biden for that. — Inflation? How is Biden responsible for inflation? Inflation is on the decline, thanks largely to the Inflation Reduction Act. — Title IX is perfectly safe. I, too, have a college student. She plays softball. We aren’t up at night fretting about trans women taking her spot. Dear Lord with this nonsense, if anything the sudden concern by right-wingers about Title IX after they opposed its creation and had some choice things to say about the women’s national soccer team getting pay parity is just disingenuous and revolting. But, hey, if this is the single issue voter for you, whatever. Just spare me your sanctimony. — Agree is age is a concern. Frankly, all of them at the top of government are too old. At least Biden has a sharp mind and knows how to run government. |
So, you are calling my son a liar? Were you in the class with him? He doesn't care enough to make it a big deal. He's a teen boy. He's not interested in politics. If he really cares about something, he will make his views known. |
"Diversity of thought" is a Republican talking point. -- are you saying that Dems don't support diversity of thought? |
It really really doesn’t. Not now, 18 months before the election. What does any of this have to do with starting a Republican club in MCPS? As a progressive Democrat, I am all for that, BTW. But I resent the insinuation that if one doesn’t exist it’s somehow due to some sort of oppression or suppression of diverse thought. Occam’s Razor: Lack of interest. |
I don't know. Remember, it only takes a handful of states. Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin. All of those with disapproval ratings near 60. And right now, the difference between Biden and RDS is less than one percentage point nationally. He would win Florida, and Ohio. Can't find info on Joe/Ron for Wisconsin (most recent i found was 5 months ago) & recent polls would have RDS beating Joe in PA and AZ. No matter what, it's going to be an uphill battle, especially for a senior citizen that has trouble articulating himself. People scoffing at the prediction of a 1 term presidency really need to wake up |
I actually called him weak minded. He’s been taught by you if women are not smiling , kind and docile they are rabid. So not lying just uninformed and weak minded as a result of bad parenting. |
You should probably educate yourself on the 13 keys to election prediction cause none of your points are indicators. |
The Young Republicans club at my kid's high school has maybe a dozen or so members. Their yearbook photo is grouped with another on the yearbook page.
The Young Democrats club has a couple hundred members. Their yearbook photo spans both side-by-side pages. Both clubs are open to all grades. |
Freedom of thought is a good thing. But if most people think the same thing - for example, the earth is round, the moon landing was not faked, vaccines prevent vaccine-preventable diseases - that is not a problem. If there are kids with Republican beliefs at a high school, and they want to start a Young Republican Club, go for it! However, if there aren't, then what? Force some kids to have Republican beliefs? Force some kids who don't have Republican beliefs to nonetheless start a Young Republican Club? Find some kids with Republican beliefs, elsewhere, and invite them to start a Young Republican Club at a school they don't attend? |
All of this. And more. I’ll add immigration. He has done nothing to address our immigration woes. And as a Montgomery County resident, I witness first-hand, on a daily basis how uncontrolled immigration has negatively impacted my family, my neighborhood and my kid’s schools. |
