It’s never been posted on parent vue before. At all. |
| USPS Informed Delivery shows we have a letter arriving today. I am assuming it says some version of "no." Does every 5th grade in the district receive a letter today saying whether they were or were not in the lottery in the first place? |
Yes. You get a letter either way. |
Same here. I don’t know if everyone receives a letter or just those who were eligible? |
Everyone gets a letter. |
| Did anyone get it yet? Please share any info contained. |
If parents are willing, I would be interested in knowing the MAP-M scores of kids who did and didn’t get selected. (And, yes, I know they’re still using the lottery model.) Best of luck to everyone for good news! |
| Just received our letter. Made the lottery for math and humanities. But came up empty for magnet placement. Bummer. |
Sorry to hear that. The lottery isn't really that great and identifying the best candidates but this is the last year of this experiment so hopefully next year's process will be better. |
| MAP-M 266, eligible for one of the 25 local spots at TPMS. In lottery for TPMS magnet and offered spot. |
Congrats. Is that the Jan score or from fall? It’s fall that they look at. Also what does it say in the letter? Any other pertinent info? Does it mention Eastern too? |
| Entered into both lotteries offered a spot in neither. Also disappointed. |
What MAP scores? |
| Current CES student. Entered in both lottery pool. Made it to none upcounty school. Map-m 265. |
| Got letter that student was placed in both lottery pools and did not get a spot. I presume this mean he will be placed in HIGH and AIM at our local school. |
