The 28s may be one the worst teams I’ve seen for a travel club in along time. And they entered A bracket for NGLL. Mark this quote and come back at end of May. They will go 0-8 and goal differential will be in the 70/80 range

How the coach or Club director could allow this team to enter NGLL, especially A is doing a great disservice to the players. There is going to be alot of driving around for some lopsided losses.

Agreed - I genuinely feel bad for this poster that is singing the praises because I honestly don't think she knows what is going to happen to them in the NGLL especially if they signed up for the A bracket!?

From what I saw and experienced before we moved our DD to another club a couple of years ago was that the coaches and parents who pay for this btw have zero say in any aspect of this club. It is a dictatorship run by JR and she believes iron sharpens iron. But she fails to realize is that MCE is not even close to iron they are more like butter and those other teams in the NGLL are hot knives. I just hope it doesn't kill those girls' interest in the game. I really want the club to succeed it could be a great way to grow the sport in the county but until they start listening to the parent's complaints and not trying to blame everyone else it will not be any more than a B-level club claiming to be on an A level.

27s and 28s each won only 2 NGLL games last year... in the B division. Why on earth would both go A this year.

I feel bad for the 28 parents. Do they really know what they are signing up for? Driving 1.5 hours each way every weekend to play in NGLL A division when you will lose every game by 10+ goals?

The 2030s were in A division last year and won a bunch of tournaments but went dormant this year. their best player left for BLC last week after JR met with the parents. others may be looking to follow. looks like a repeat of the 2026s . all the same gripes and nothing changes.

A bunch of comments disappeared. I guess Jenna is monitoring this forum.

And yet again the talent leaves because JR knows best it's sad it really is and then for the comments to disappear when from what I saw were nothing more than the truth being spoken just goes to show how she is so afraid of the truth being in the open about lack of quality coaching if and when they actually show up.

I know JR is the director but when are any of the board members going to stand up to her and just say you need to actually listen to what these parents are saying and stop just disregarding their concerns?

28 just dropped out of the A bracket...Parents must have been vocal to leadership and demanded a change.

I have a hard time believing JR would drop them into the B bracket that essentially be admitting the clubs not where it once was.

Well, its in tourney machine. So if she didn't drop them down than the NGLL folks did.

Or like every year, NGLL didn't actually put the trans in the right bracket until they started putting the schedule together and they always wanted one team in A and one team in B.

Wrong. They had the MCE Midnight in A and MCE Carolina in B. Now MCE Midnight is gone from A while Carolina is still in B.

You literally register your team in a specific A or B bracket link. So it's not on NGLL it's on the club.
