So many posters seem so ignorant of the reason we have the second amendment in the first place. Those of us who own assault rifles and thousands of rounds do so in case of invasion or attempts of another third reich or some such in our own backyard. We are not doomsday preppers but we do worry about a rogue nation with an emp taking us back two hundred years. We watch history repeat itself again and the tactics of the “weak” taking down the “superior” force again and again.

Most of my extended family members love Trump. I have a female family member with daughters who is a GOP candidate. "Life begins at conception!!!" "Preserve gun rights!"

Our grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother had 8, 10 and 20 kids--you know, because it was all a choice and not forced birth or forced poverty by the Catholic church. Some of them had to leave school in order to help raise the younger siblings--you know, because they agreed to it. An uncle of ours committed suicide with a gun. A few of our cousins are part of the LGBTQ community. Several of us are in interracial marriages. Female family member has her great education and plenty of income but sees nothing wrong with seeking power to oppress the sorts of people she comes from and the daughters she is raising. Showing off photos of snapshots with her, Pence and his "mother". Traitor. I pray she loses but unfortunately she will probably win because she looks like the "right kind" of American. Disgusting.

I mourn for my younger self who trusted any of these people and thought they were all on board with empowering the girls and women in my family. Declaring themselves feminists while refusing to vote for Hillary because "I can't vote for a woman who claims to be a feminist yet stays with her cheating husband!!!"

Facism has come to America - but the poster doesn’t seem to recognize that it comes from the same group of people who are blindly giving in to the gun fetish lobby. You have no idea what is a normal amount of ammunition for a gun owner to have. People buy 1000 round boxes all the time. You can easily shoot through 100-200 rounds per hour of target practice.

Then allow people to purchase and use as much as ammo as they like -- but only at the site where they will be practicing shooting targets. No taking the ammo home. Just like you can drink at a bar but you can't take the bottle home.
