OLD buzz words / phrases that make you swipe left?

Obviously “no drama”. Why is this such an issue in your life that you need to state this? What are you doing to attract so much drama that you need to defend against potential drama at every opportunity?

Negative language. Ie listing dislikes instead of likes

Travel people. I like to go on a nice trip now and again but people who make traveling their identity are exhausting and boring. This is also very common in my age group (early 30s millennial)

Values animals over people

Obsessed with being an ex-pat

Political and social justice criteria

Proud Medicinal marijuana card holders

Listing your Ivy education and reiterating it throughout your profile multiple times with talk of country clubs and polo matches.

Yes especially anti. It's shows some kind of OCD is going on.

"I'm not a gold digger" definitely means they are, lol.

If they were ever a Trumper, they're too stupid for me to consider them.

If you've still got "no Trumpers" in your profile in 2022, then you're too stupid and crazy for me to consider you.

That's a good one!

It’s cliche but can you just say I enjoy a variety of interests and places or is that too vanilla?

What’s the point of that statement? Either way it tells me nothing about you at all. Who the Ef doesn’t enjoy a variety of interests and places? Your substitution is even worse. Filler and totally lame. It’s like saying you like being outside and breathing air.

A lot of people really like living in the city or country. They have an identity to one or the other 90% of the time. Some people like variety. How would you phrase that without being cliche or lame?

You know like the people who live in the country. love god, love their family, love wilderness sports. Or the people who love the city, love the arts, love traveling, love, going out to dinner and conversation. How do you say you like a little bit of security and new things?

It’s too late because you’re already lame for thinking people who like the city don’t love their families or people who live in the country don’t like conversations. The call is coming from inside the house on the problem with your phrasing.

You haven’t noticed that Trump is no longer president and therefore it’s stupid and crazy to continue to be obsessed with him?

Thank God he isn't. But there are tons of his wackjob supporters raging around out there and I don't want anything to do with them. It's a decent filter for intelligence, morals, paranoia.

I thought No Drama means a more direct, clear communicator?

Has that been taken over to subliminally mean shut up and don’t talk about things ever?

no drama is code for "i've had lots of drama in the past and OF COURSE it was the other person's fault not mine"
