Karl Frisch and the Stupidity of Dunn Loring ES

1. I never been disrespectful on Twitter and really took the nasty remarks towards me with Grace.

2. I never called out schools as “war zone” and never said I am going to push guns in school. Reality is I want to institute technology coupled with a proper Emergency Response Plan to mitigate and delay so Law Enforcement can deal with threats on the outside of schools. Also I want to stop the increase on sex trafficking and sex crimes… I work on that currently in the private sector.

3. The school board doesn’t need more activist and educators… we need leaders that can manage a budget (meaning seeing where all the money is going), reallocate the current funding based on the priorities (priorities based on community wants and needs), ensure the safety of all children/staff/teachers at our schools… just to name a few.

4. Emphasis mental health issues by adding more support to teachers and parents. We have a great program in the Foster Care system that I went through to adopt my son… I want to expand that service to help all parents because raising children is a hard task.

5. Increase mentorship programs in FFX such as Big Brother/Big Sister so we can help our children as a loving community. My son was in the system for 9 years and adopting him was a blessing and a honor. If we want to help our kids we have to step up with more than words.

6. I will increase trade and vocational schools as a career path upon graduation. Also develop job placement from the trade/vocational schooling so kids that don’t have any to go to college have an opportunity to have a good paying job when they graduate. I have already networked with local businesses.

Those are some examples of what I bring… in the private sector as a consultant, high net-worth people and corporations hire me to evaluate and provide solutions to their issues. That goes from security issues to business management to leadership mentorship to P&L vs ROI assessments.

These are real skills that I bring from my broad experience from the military, the Secret Service, the CIA, and private sector. I would put my body of work against anyone on the school board any day.

Media Matters: Hey, Let’s Investigate the Private Lives of Fox News
Reporters!

“Simply put,” Frisch wrote, “the progressive movement is in need of an enemy. George W. Bush is gone. We really don’t have John McCain to kick around any more. Filling the lack of leadership on the right, Fox News has emerged as the central enemy and antagonist of the Obama administration, our Congressional majorities and the progressive movement as a whole.”

Creating enemies is not what we should be doing, but apparently @KarlFrisch @fcpsnews have an different objective to push their “movement”. That is to create hate and division.

That is not a quality of a school board member that has the best interest of all in the community. His only objective is his activism. I will put people first because a strong community is a united community.

Let’s end this division and vote Karl and the rest of the school board out!

We should vote out Frisch because he is wasting so much money on an unnecessary school that’s going to result in unnecessary disruption. On a school board full of dingleberries, he is the biggest one.

Mr. Sabio, Harry Jackson has pointed out that a GOP candidate used the n word at Oakton Day in front of students. Do you condemn that? Do you call on him to withdraw from the race?

Anthony, what will you do to improve special education services in FCPS?

I see a lot of denunciations of Hamas terrorism on Sabio’s Twitter account recently. That strikes me as anything but crazy. Frisch has pictures of his dog and a near-constant stream of posts about LBGTQ issues on his account.

Here’s an interview with Sabio: https://patch.com/virginia/fairfaxcity/tony-sabio-running-providence-district-school-board-race-profile

He’s further to the right than I’d like on some issues, but he hasn’t squandered over $60M in taxpayer funds like Frisch on a completely unnecessary school that no one asked for, so he’d be an improvement.

Sabio seems more centrist and reasonable overall. I also admire he willingly chose to become a foster-parent.

He definitely has my vote over Frisch, who only seems to be a political hack and only in this for his own political career ambitions.

Frisch should be investigated for the Dunn Loring boondoggle. When a school that isn’t needed and that no one wants gets tens of millions in funding - with some of that money already spent on architects to draw up plans that include tearing down a historic school structure - we need to know who is really benefiting. It is super shady.

This thread has gone too far. It belongs in the politics forum. Disgusting that a politician is using a school info forum for his campaigning.

People need to understand that a guy who is wasting $60 million in taxpayer money (Frisch) is seeking re-election when there actually ought to be a state AG investigation into who is benefitting from a decision to fund a completely unnecessary school. One thing is for sure - it won’t be kids or taxpayers.

I would like a school board member that can actually write in complete sentences and use proper grammar, so nope. Move along.
