Why are Dems going all in on Mayor Pete?

That doesn't work with Whites, and it seems actual POC as opposed to Twitter POC don't seem to like it much either, if we take 2020 and 2021's election results in mind.

Because the alternative, to me, is letting the crowds of 1/6 take over. But that isn't enough for many people. Fulminating about how dumn they all are won't exactly work, either. So we have to focus on the legitimate grievances and concerns of the people.

Pete clearly sees himself as the gay Obama. I would bet a lot of money that he has listened to Obama’s speeches and recited them to his mirror before. But I don’t think he’s the Democratic savior and neither do any of my Democratic friends, despite what his people are leaking to Politico.

I don't want to see Pete OR Kamala on a national ticket. That says, I like his energy, and head of the ticket is not the only position in national politics open to him.

Let him get some actual achievements under his belt and I'm open to reconsidering my position on a national ticket.

There was a video passed around in 2020 of Buttigieg almost perfectly matching Obama tone and cadences. I really, really doubt, especially given his hackneyed ambition, that Buttigieg stumbled on that similarity by accident.
