| It’s all over but the packing. |
| More meetings. please! More feedback. More surveys. More DATA. I just don’t have enough. |
They never respond to public comments, other than thank you. |
Do the staff watch/attend these meetings? |
yes |
|
the number of wealthy parents, who stand there, alleging that 1) APS is ignoring the data and 2) low income people need transit accessible schools b/c they rely on the bus to get to school- displays an amazing level of lack of self-awareness.
The best data- shows that virtually no one uses transit to get their kids to school. You want a data based decision? This 'talking point' is totally irrelevant and basically false. |
I was actually impressed by the number of minority parents that spoke. It takes a lot of courage. Options schools are the most integrated schools in the county, being an option school parent, I want integrated schools where all students do well. |
Do they know they are lying or are they stupid? I can’t tell. |
Noone uses transit daily to get to school because transit is awful in this county. People do use transit and walk to get to parent-teacher meetings, school events, etc. |
The School Board actually said that they were watching on line but not in attendance tonight. |
There’s several Integrated schools in the county. I get the love for option schools but let’s not make neighborhood schools look like they’re horrible |
Wasn't Cintia there? Isn't she 'staff' definitely not an elected sb member. |
Sorry, my point was just to say that I wish that housing and schools were not so segregated in some parts of the county. |
| for a school board candidate, Krieger's comments showed a shocking lack of consideration for the rest of the county- he is totally Key focused. |
Neighborhood Key will be integrated because of the neighborhood, Immersion at ATS will be integrated because of the location and program, and ATS at McKinley will be waaay more diverse than neighborhood McKinley. Moving schools creates an additional diverse neighborhood school vs no moves. |
