Sex on vacation

Is it pretty much a guarantee that your sex life sees an uptick as soon as you get on vacation? Or have you had a different experience?

It depends! If we are touring cities in Europe and we are on our feet all day sex is low on the list but it will happen once or twice. If we go to a Caribbean resort for a week and we are just chilling out sex once or twice a day has high odds. Coming back from the beach at 5pm after a drink or two has very high odds of sex. Children are not on this vacation.

We have one kid - a young teen. We always get a one bedroom suite when when travel. Seems indulgent, but probably the same price as two hotel rooms, which is what my friends with two kids are all doing with their teens. So we have sex most days on vacation. But for the same reason we also have pretty regular sex at home.

😂 I can still at 42 rock a bikini….I think….and when we return from the beach my husband is usually untying my top as we enter the room. Sun, alcohol and a bikini have an amazing effect on men.

Kid free vacations become a love fest depending on where we are. Not only is it frequent but with no kids within ear shot my mind is clear and my body lets loose. Sadly, it’s hard to replicate that at home.

I have the least sex when I’m traveling. Not sure how you qualify vacation v travel. We are fairly adventurous and are fortunate to take extended trips. My DH and I have driven the entire Pan-Ameirican Highway, we drove from England above the Artiic Circle and bac south through the Baltic states, we took a cargo ship to some remote South Pacific islands, we drove around New Zealand for three months, we did The Track around Australia, and this summer we are driving through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique for three months. We have much more sex at home then we are on the road and I think that is fine. We often both smell pretty bad on these trips due to lack of showers.
