Dear Lord, you just asked this question!

| Buffalo, Drexel |
| U of Minnesota has excellent reputation and for some reason is a relatively easy admit even for OOS. |
| Northeastern |
| Colorado |
Used to be true but then they launched a highly successful scheme to drive their acceptance rate down and it's now in the low double digits or maybe even single digits. |
Uh no. “Easier” for the satellite campuses but not Boston. |
| Applicants of a decent caliber. High accept rate. Elon. Sewanee. JMU. Alabama. Denver. Hampden Sydney. Wofford. College of Charleston. UVM. There are lots…. |
|
Emory/Oxford which is their two year junior college.
Oregon, Arizona State, Kansas. |
Emory/Oxford is not a safety for most kids. Admission rate is still less than 20%. |
| Colorado, Iowa & Iowa St |
Was just coming here to say this. As someone who once lived adjacent to the campus in the 90s then moved to DC, I never understood why Minnesota (and Minneapolis in general) was not much more popular with the DMV crowd. Especially those with strong average kids. Thinking about the people who get excited about Pitt, Delaware, Indiana and JMU OOS. EspPESHally those that cannot shut up about Pitt and how fun Pittsburgh is. I mean, I like it too -- no shade -- but have you spent time in Minneapolis? If you're willing to accept the weather in Pittsburgh and/or Newark DE is a good enough city for you, then you really owe it to yourself to explore U of Minn |
+1. They just don’t know the Midwest. |
