Will we get an email if we move from waitlist to accept status? Or do we just continue checking the portal?

I would guess you will get an email.

Final decisions are due today. I would think that they have to take those decisions and check to see if kids who said no were part of the 1.5% from a given school and turn to the school lists for those cases first. Then turn to the larger pool. I would suspect that that might take a little time.

The 1.5% is only for initial offers, the waitlist comes from the overall list of students and goes to the next highest rated student, not back to the school quota pool.

I am curious the process if selected off the waitlist - how long do we have to accept or decline? Do they do another information night as it will probably be a decent sized group? If not how do we learn the information shared at the initial admitted student information night?

There were no formal presentations, the kids wondered and asked questions at the stations that they were interested in.

This. It was basically a self-directed tour of the school. We learned the most from the welcome email.
