What's your absolute favorite restaurant in London?

Doesn't need to be fancy or a special-occasion place. Just want great atmosphere, amazing food, any price range. Hole in the walls totally fine.

But it does need to be near the city center. Not taking the tube to any suburbs to eat a meal. TIA

Ye old cheshire cheese was memorable not so much for the food as for the experience.

If you don’t want to take the tube or public transport to get to the restaurant, you need to say a location. The city centre is vast.
