| Elizabeth Smart, child advocate she kidnapping survivor; is now into bodybuilding. She posted a picture recently. I was surprised. But good for her. This woman can do anything! |

Here’s the photo on her Instagram:

| She's so strong - mentally and now physically! |
+100 These days so many play the victim for so much less than this woman had to endure. She is no one's victim and is such an impressive person. |
Elizabeth advocates for all victims. She would not be on board with you using her to diminish other victims. |
| I’ve heard that bodybuilding is about taking back power over your body. So it’s fitting that she would like this. |
Thank you. Elizabeth is very inspiring for me and other survivors, and I agree she would never view survivor hood as a competition on either level (either the level of abuse endured, or the way a survivor chooses to discuss or address what she or he has been through). Survivors have to stick together and support each other, which is exactly what she does. |
I had the same thought. Good for her. |
| She is stunning! |
+1. I can imagine after her experience that she likes (maybe even needs) the control. |
|
Oh my gosh, I saw this!
It's so interesting. I know she's done a few marathons (which also hits the control button). I say good for her. She's incredibly fierce. As far as looks go, I think she's one of those people who is so naturally pretty that I hate to see the fake tan and shredded muscles, but that's not my business! |
+1 It must feel empowering to think that she would be better able to defend herself and kick someone's ass the next time. |
|
She is amazing and inspirational for every one.
What an evolved and beautiful human and soul. |
| She’s amazing and incredible, but that looks like self harm. |
| This is one person in the public eye that is truly worth admiring. She possesses a mental and physical strength that is remarkable. Good for her!! |
