It is highly unlikely that anyone around him has the guts to tell him anything that sounds remotely bad or suggests a weakness. They will tell him they are studying how amazing his brain is and the results are always perfect, the best, better than anyone ever in history.

He isn’t enraged by any form of criticism and everyone around him knows it. The people around him who survive are the ones who never ever say anything he doesn’t want to hear. It’s actually a pretty dangerous situation because it’s not clear that there’s anyone in the US government who could ever stop him.
