Since he televises his cabinet meetings so everyone can hear all the praise from his flunkies, it’s difficult to not comment on his falling asleep. Turns out “sleepy Joe” was yet another projection.

Another medical doctor (Dick Cheney’s) questions the deflection coming out of the White House. And more notice of Trump’s cognitive decline creeping into reporting. It’s possible the media is trying not to be caught flat-footed for not reporting on the dementia. It’s becoming too obvious to ignore.

Meanwhile, anyone with eyes can see signs that the president has diminishing mental faculties. It appeared that he could barely stay awake throughout a lengthy Cabinet meeting Tuesday, and when he spoke, he was incoherent and confused.

To quote J.K.Rowling's fictional reporter Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter, "the Prophet exists to sell itself, you silly girl". It does not serve the public. It was always about eyeball grabbing, and balancing how to out-scoop their competitors while avoiding government censure.

I have very little respect for the media, with the exception of some Watergate and Pentagon Papers-level journalists and editors.

Yes. It’s clear that Trump is cognitively impaired and aging fast. The dementia will bring him down faster than the aging though.
