Huh?? Hezbollah is massively well armed.

If that's true, then Hezbollah has 10x the moral commitment to world peace than Israel because we have't seen jack shit in the way of a response to Israel's atrocities in Lebanon. They are so massively well armed, and yet they are demonstrating restraint that the rabid leadership in Israel clearly lacks.

What the hell are you talking about? They’re launching over 100 rockets a day.

Hey dummy, they are having zero effect. Not even the Iron Dome is activated as these so-called "100 rockets a day" (a lie, mind you - you couldn't provide documentary proof of that claim if your life depended on it) fall dead into unoccupied sand.

Nobody is buying your hysterics. Point to actual deaths (with reputable links) so we can at least try to create some sense of moral equivalency with the atrocities being committed by Israel, or STFU.

DP... this is a bunch of bullshit. You CAN NOT just shrug off the rockets because Israel is intercepting most of them. The rockets are serious business. Some of us have not forgotten about the Hamas rocket that misfired and blew up outside of a Gazan hospital. The media and everyone else blamed Israel and claimed it destroyed the whole hospital and killed hundreds. That's what Hamas and Hezbollah have been firing at Israel on a daily basis. And Israel is having to spend millions to intercept them, because if they didn't have the Iron Dome, hundreds of civilians would be dying. That's not hysterics, that's fact.

Since it began Monday with a ferocious aerial barrage, Israel’s military operation against Hezbollah has killed more than 700 people in Lebanon and set off a spiraling humanitarian crisis.

It was too early to tell the real toll of Friday’s strike, said Firass Abiad, Lebanon’s health minister. Four to six buildings were “completely demolished,” he added. “We expect fatalities to be high if there were people inside their apartments.

They are celebrating in Syria and many other places across the Arab world. Nasrallah, the guy you support, was a man of ZERO morality, who has been responsible for the murder of countless Jews, Druze, Christians and Muslims alike, including children. And he would have gladly blown up residential apartment buildings all across Israel and kill tens of thousands if his attacks weren't constantly having to be intercepted.

Hamas and Hezbollah are not victims, are not moral organizations, they are murderous terrorists. Period.

Do you know who's really thrilled about the apparent death of Hezbollah's leadership?

The vast majority of Lebanese - Sunni, Maronite Christian, even most Shi'a. No group has done more damage to Lebanon than Hezbollah. Almost the entire Arab world is absolutely delighted by Israel's targeted actions against Hezbollah - from exploding pagers and walkie talkies to the destruction of their underground hq. The Arab world and most of Lebanon is celebrating today.

I can confirm with certainty that most Lebanese are terrified as to what comes next. They just want peace.

There were a lot of Iraqis happy about the downfall of Saddam. We know what that led to.

I don't know what will happen in Lebanon. Ever heard the expression "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't"?

Just to be clear, I sure as hell hope this doesn't open a pandoras box of destruction.

The US arranged many charter flights for US citizens out of Israel after 10/7, even though there were still commmercial flights available. Very clear which US citizens matter more to this administration.

+100. They are not celebrating. They are deeply deeply terrified.

Why can people not express sorrow for all the horrible casualties of war???

I really have no way of knowing if this is true. The middle eastern papers are not reporting on it. But I can assure you than many people from the region who have immigrated to the US (legally!) are horrified by both the terror Israel is inflicting as well as the one sided reporting in the US. it’s okay for you to share info like the post above and remind us that the commander killed was likely a bad guy but you are brainwashed if you think Lebanese and Syrians welcome Israel’s continued killing of their families. This is NOT precision targeting.

Why is Israel trying to start world war 3 and how does the US extricate itself from its aggression? They are unhinged. I am not interested in supporting and funding Israel’s attacks.

Hezbolla has been living through the FO part of FAFO for the past week or so.

Look, they didn't just bomb Beirut randomly and kill Nasrallah by wild coincidence. Your framing of this is wildly off.

It was based directly on intel about the whereabouts of Nasrallah and it took him out. Your average Lebanese civilians who aren't in direct proximity to senior Hezbollah operatives or their weaponry logistics don't have much to worry about.

If any Lebanese people are genuinely worried about getting bombed by Israel then the best solution for that is for them to stop supporting well known violent agents of terror working to destroy Israel like Hezbollah.

A war that Hezbollah has willfully, deliberately and violently kept going for decades. If Hezbollah is eliminated then that means no more Hezbollah-Israel war.

Israel’s terrorist pager attacks went off all over without regard to innocent civilians. It was a crazy attack to have been done by a US ally.
