MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A man was stabbed in the arm after he was confronted by a group of teens inside a restroom at Wheaton Mall on Feb. 4, according to Montgomery County Police Department officers.

Investigators said a man entered the mall and went to a restroom, where he was approached by seven teens armed with knives. The man was assaulted and stabbed in the arm before he was able to leave.

If they find one of those kids, they can probably find all of them- they are likely classmates and go to same school. School staff would know them easily, because they are more than likely doing this type of hoodlum behavior in a school somewhere. Hope they get caught soon!

I want to know why police weren’t asking for the public’s help a month ago.

I live not far from there and go to the mall sometimes, but I’d never go in the bathrooms, especially the one way down a long empty hallway.

Honestly that's a really clear picture of the kid with the bowl cut.

It seems like the school-based CEOs could probably identify these kids quickly.

Yeah, sure. Draw a knife when someone disrespects you. These kids are armed and looking for a reason to hurt someone. It's a very sad way to grow up, and teachers are expected to teach them in large classes with minimal supports.

Yeah, the school could probably id them pretty easily. Whether they would or not is a whole other story.
