Since the change is very recent and due to the Gaza mass murder, I am afraid that opinion will swing back once Gaza gets out of the news cycle and the Israeli propaganda works hard to whitewash all of it.
Pro Israeli sentiment might never reach the heights it once did, but I think it will increase again. Public opinion is entirely manipulated by (dis)information, and Palestinians and their supporters just don't have the organizational and financial clout that Israelis have in this country. I think people are a lot more aware of the propaganda machine and attempts to control the narrative. We know our governments lie, we know their military lies, and we know they've done unspeakable things while trying to portray themselves as victims. I think Israel, like the US, has trashed its reputation for a generation or two, at least. |
