| With ECNL Texas this weekend and GA's Champions Cup in early March, will Mid-March to April be ECNL and GA announce their new clubs and any change in conference's? Normally the leaks had started already but not much this year. |
|
Well, there are no local clubs that ECNL would consider or accept on the girls side.
I’m not really sure what you are looking for here? GA may add a few additional low to mid level clubs like they’ve been doing but that’s nothing significant. |
lol no club in the area would want to join ecnl if it condemns their boys side. net net the ga/mlsn package is presently better than ecnl. ecnl may change that next year by allowing its clubs to offer mlsn but presently ecnl is the weaker package |
Pending acceptance into MLSNXT your local club comment could changed and youll have to come on here and stand corrected. |
|
on girls side, there are no clubs that applied that ECNL accepted. Wanted to add one each in NC and VA for balance, but no clubs in VA met the mark.
GA in VA has too many clubs as it is, and needs to relegate some non-competitive ones to Aspire. Who would they add that would just water down the quality further? |
GA clubs get priority for MLSN. Now that MLS1 and MLS2 are split apart I'm expecting ti see a buch of new MLSN2 clubs pop up. |
| And so it begins - NVU to MLS Next Academy division. |
| So you can go into MLS Next B team division with just a random assortment of teams-you aren't required to have a team at every year or any girls teams? |
MLSNext is a boys league. |
I think they mean do you have to have a GA team for every mls next/mls next b team that you have |
MLSNext is a Boys league and organization. I'm not aware of any clubs that have only Girls, but there are plenty of clubs that only has Boys. Boys soccer is where the money is generated, Girls soccer is where the gossip is generated. |
No why? Boys only clubs exist all over the country |
How is the strategic partnership with GA going? Put ECNL out of business yet? |
You do not need a team at every level |
ECNL is still better than GA nationwide but the MidAtlantic conference of ECNL is so bad that GA is better for girls in this area. |
