Wow. I truly hope for your sake that this is a troll post… if you really believe that, you have some issues. |
Its true and other geos are becoming this way as well. If MLSN ever drops the hammer and forces clubs on their girls side to be GA things could flip overnight. But I dont think this will happen. More likely since US Soccer now controls ECNL and GA in the background we'll have some form of combined showcaaes and maybe a true playoffs. Combined showcases will make things better for everyone because leagues wont be competing for facilities on certain dates. |
If you average the rankings in each age group for just Mid Atlantic you will see ECNL > GA > RL/Aspire. Doesn’t mean there aren’t some good GA teams that could beat a few ECNL teams but as a whole ECNL is stronger. |
| Seems like with the chatter about ECNL merging with MLSN/GA via private equity sounds like there'll be a lot of new ECNL teams on the way and visa/versa. ... Discussed here: ...https://www.instagram.com/p/DUs15uwDqui/ |

Also people chatting about the rumors here:

| Mid Atlantic will suck even harder now that SC Surf is joining. Charleston is nice though |
| Where did you see this? |
you go to talking soccer and check the chats. Nc disagrees and hates driving up here for substandard competition. Way too many GA Clubs in this area |
that would be ideal |
GA will start sending underperforming clubs to aspire. You will see some changes in this area soon 😉 |
Emphasis on unsubstantiated rumors! That thread is worthless. |
#ncma is raising hell so i hope so. Kinda the inverse of mlsn and boys ecnl. College Coaches know the products. Less saturation will bode well for the future teams |
indeed but the private equity is moving into kids hockey and ikeN isnt doing well stock wise. May be some truths to it |
|
Things are brewing…

The folks at the levers for ECNL must be a real treat. Their prime showcases have been a complete debacle this year, meanwhile they look down their noses at clubs that are interested. Hubris in overdrive. |
