| Did anyone get them from our area? Princeton did one-rejected, applied to all ivy and plus, only got interview with MIT and Georgetown. Kid is worried. Also--would they wait for the midyear report to do the interview? It has not been sent in yet. |

Kid got a interview request yesterday for Dartmouth. But otherwise it's been crickets. Her mid-year report has not been sent yet. Does anyone know if Dartmouth interviews all applicants? |

Dartmouth interviews everyone they can. It's not related to stats, etc but to alumni availability. They admit kids each year who are not interviewed. |

DMV area? I know Princeton tries to interview everyone. Not sure about the other Ivy ivy + that interview (Yale, Harvard, Duke, Dartmouth, Stanford) My kid had interviews from all of those schools and was accepted. But there are accepted kids that don’t get interviews. |

| So which interviews count and which don't? Common Data Sets indicate they are considered for the schools that I've looked at, but you folks on here sometimes say otherwise. |

My kid applied end of December.
He’s already had them with Harvard, Princeton and Georgetown. No word from Duke, Stanford or Yale. |

| I did alumnae interviews for Princeton for 10 years. I interviewed some amazing, amazing kids and raved about them but have yet to have any of my interviewees accepted. My sense is that they don't factor into the decisions at all but rather are a way to engage alums. |

My DC applied a couple of days before the RD apps were due.
Received Princeton and Harvard interview, and finished both. No word from Northwestern and Stanford. NoVA public school. Mid-year grades not sent yet. (This topic was covered earlier in the month, if you want other details.) |
