how would you adapt this recipe to use canned beans not dried?

I'm trying to make this recipe but I do not have dried Great Northern Beans, just 2 cans of Great Northern beans.

How would you alter the recipe to account for the canned beans? I assume put the beans in a little later or cook them for less time? Reduce the liquid?

Drain and rinse the beans; adjust the liquid amount and simmering time to get the consistency you want; and consider using stock/broth instead of water to adjust for the flavor you'll lose by not using dried beans.

^^^adding that you may want to save some of the aquafaba when draining and add it to the stew to give it more body
