Relationship Discussion (non-explicit)
| If an individual had double digit one night stands while young and single, do you think that increases the likelihood of infidelity during marriage? |
| No |
| Is that why so many men cheat on their wives? |
| Can only speak for myself but I had lots of hook ups and one night stands when I was in my early 20s. Have never even had an ounce of desire to cheat on DH in the 15 years we've been together. |
| Nope, I’ve had dozens and never so much as thought about stepping out of my marriage. |
Same 25 years. |
| No. |
| It’s actually opposite - dorks who couldn’t get laid when they were young act out a lot more / “want to explore” once they get some money and more confidence. |
| I really don't think it has any bearing at all, whichever way. |
Yep, I see it too. The girls who were out of their league then can be theirs now. |

It's not a set in stone thing for every person, but there's a correlation between lifetime sexual partners and infidelity during marriage.

| Other than maybe being less willing to tolerate a dead bedroom due to high drive, I don’t see any reason for a connection there. |
That's how my marriage ended. |
| I wasn’t promiscuous, but dated a lot in my twenties and I’ve never cheated in any relationship. Im a woman. |
|
No I do not.
Reason being is that our younger years are a time for us to sow our wild oats. Period. We ALL did it. Then we (hopefully!) mature organically & learn to be the partner or spouse we hope to have. 💘 |
