Thought we could start a new thread with DCUM recommendations for great injectors. Please share yours below, whether in MD, DC or VA!
For my part, I’ve gone to Capital Skin and Laser (or is it Laser and Skin, I can never remember) in Friendship Heights, and they’ve been great. I’ve also been to Sara at S+P in West End, also very good. All I’ve done is Botox though and now I’m considering HA filler under eyes and possibly sculptra. I’d love to know DCUM’s favorite injectors for all three, ideally themselves MDs in relevant disciplines or under the supervision of surgeons or similar specialists, but not 100% necessary if someone is really trustworthy. I’m not really interested in the mass market medspa chains but perhaps others will be. TIA |
| You sound manic! Take it easy. |
Manic? Because I’m looking for recommendations and thought others might too. Sure, ok. 🙄 |
What? No they don’t. At all. What is wrong with you? Hadn’t spread your personal quota of misery around the Internet yet today? Not OP |
| Following. Would love recs for injectors in Arlington who don’t have “a look” and are known for a subtle effect - I feel like so many in my friend group are turning into some variation of 2/3 injectors who have a distinct style |

I’ve been going to Danielle in Fairfax for years:
https://theaestheticxpert.com/ She’s a very experienced injector and I’ve always been happy with my results! Noticeable but very subtle. |

Dr. Naz is excellent at under-eye filler. She is the only person I would go to for that particular treatment.

I'd love to know more about who these injectors are and what they do that defines their 'look'. Like, is there an injector who is crazy about temple filler or master Botox or something and recommends it to all their clients even if they don't 'need' it? Is it just an injector with a heavy hand whose clients look frozen? |
Good info. What did you have done? |
OP here this is a great rec, thanks! |
| Anyone specifically recommended for Sculptra? |
For me, she uses Xeomin (I know people have varying results with it, but my face seems to hold onto it well); I get injections for my forehead lines, crows feet, and jowls every 3-4 months. Filler in my cheeks once a year. I’d like to dip into some other treatments, specifically for my neck and jawline, but I haven’t taken the plunge yet. For reference, I’m 50; my skin is decent but I do have some “areas of concern,” mainly around my eyes and jowls/jawline. |

Erika overfilled my face and kept trying to convince me to get more filler. Ended up having all of it dissolved |
Good to know. Did you also have roc with her? Did you like that? Where do you go now? |
